They always hit the spot. Especially the sweet potato one. Probably my favorite. Eat it everyday, non negotiable
i love sweets but ive found i get WAY hungrier after eating them for whatever reason.
I stick to russets since they seem to keep me fuller for whatever reason.

for me tho, non negotiable is a bowl of oats. I have to have oats everyday! love them!
 
12/10 Push

Food has been up for an about a week and still not progressing on the incline smith. This has been going on for a little over a month. I believe it’s time to make a switch and I say that only because now I’m making progress on the movements towards the end of the session whereas before while still in a deficit, I was holding steady. I’m thinking of bringing back DB incline press. My gym doesn’t have a good incline press, they do have the hammer strength but I’m not in love with that machine. To be continued.

Little update on the Reta experiment. Putting back 600 carbs no problem on 2mg/week. The cool thing I’m noticing is consistency after a meal with 100g of carbs, 1 hour post prandial sugars are consistently in the mid 70s. That’s crazy to me.

Russets are definitely harder to eat but yeah.u definitely full..i like those little yellow gold ones also.

Hit 20 minutes of fasted cardio. 11K steps for the day.

Fasted sugar was 72. This Reta is crazy. I used to run 90-100 fasted and I haven’t changed my GH at all. I’m thinking I may not even need insulin as food goes up but we’ll see. So far, very impressed with this compound.
 
Man I’d kill for those bg numbers. Reta doesn’t give me the glucose control like others. Hell nothing does 🤣

This is the only reason i finally gave in and tried it out. I have a low threshold for pulling it because I usually have to push food pretty hard and if this gets in the way then what’s the point. So far, appetite is strong in 2mg/wk and those glucose numbers continue to surprise me. The other day. I had a meal with 100g carbs, glucose 75 1 hour post. Had another meal 2 hours later that had 150g carbs and glucose was 75 1 hour post. That shouldn’t be possible🤣

How much are you using? I probably missed the post.
 
I honestly haven’t checked my glucose levels yet. Lazy I know but I’m running 1.5mg Reta a week split into 2 shots as well and 8iu gh a day and my blood markers at least cause I’ve gotten those done have been excellent

I use the same amount of GH as well
That was fasted. I eventually switched to Lantus for the rest of the cycle which got me to 85, was having 700 carbs daily. Everything has been lowered last few weeks.

Yea I’ll be curious to see how things progress as food increases but so far on 600g of carbs, I’m very happy with the response.

I’ve went up to 3 mg and 2 hours post meal still over 100. Fasted still over a 100 lol

I dropped the Reta cause it wasn’t doing anything. I’m sure once food gets high going to have to use slin. I’ve tried everything man. Guess my pancreas is just screwed idk lol. It has slowlyyyyy gotten better over the past year but nowhere near where I’d like it to be

12/12 Check in

Pics were fasted this morning at 179lbs. Average weight for the week 180.7 this is up 1.8 pounds from last week. Test was increased back to 750mg. Going to keep it there until I come back from Christmas. Training is starting to improve and I’m enjoying less cardio. Still going to keep in 5-6 sessions at 20 minutes a pop.

I’ll plan to keep the food same for now

12/17 Push

Made progress on all the chest movements which is the priority. Added to the top set of overhead extension. Working behind the neck presses back in. Late start at work so got the 20 minutes of cardio done. Love when that works out.
