The Gasman Files

Going through the archives and found a pic from last year that is the same weight as what I was last week (178-179)

nice improvements. Fuller and denser compared to last year. Bigger in the biceps, lats and legs. Chest is always going to be my week area and it’s always my focus and gets the most volume allocated to it. That will continue in the next phase.IMG_4580.jpegIMG_4579.jpeg

Hit fasted cardio for 25 minutes and then 30 minutes of steps.

Booked a consult call with Kurt for tomorrow for some guidance on my plan for the next phase. This is my last week of what I’ve been doing. I originally planned to diet until I go away in a couple weeks but the way I see it, the goal is accomplished. It doesn’t make sense to keep pushing for another 1-2 pounds of fat loss when I’m going to start pushing. If I’m not going to compete, then the priority needs to be getting food back to a level where consistent, productive training is occurring. To be continued….
I feel like dieted a good bit of muscle off of my frame after I left Justin. Good call. No reason to push further than you need to at this point.

I see the same as you. Bigger lats and legs never hurt.

No sir, it never hurts.

I was getting to the point where I’d start losing some absolute strength but probably could have maintained relative strength so I wasn’t too concerned about tissue loss but still, progress on the lifts must continue

Bro I think you're about 3 pounds heavier than me, but you're definitely looking much more stockier and cut, I feel you, I definitely got some goals to complete as well.

Woke up 178.2 and average was down .75 pounds for the week.

Pull day done. Hit 20 minutes of cardio post and a 30 minute walk. Added a rep to the top sets on lat movements. Matched the row and rear delts. Progressed on both sets biceps. I sprinkled in some chest and tricep work. Chest because its my weakest body part and I'm going to hammer it with as much frequency as possible. Triceps because they just seem to recover no matter what i throw at them. I have my check in with Kurt later and I will update my next phase.

High low pulldown x2
Nautilus pullover x2
Cybex row x2
Rear delt fly x2
Single preacher machine x2
Nautilus nitro pec fly x2
Single extension x2

Thought you decided to drop Kurt? Maybe I missed the post

Ok, here we go. Finished up my call with Kurt. Always good to catch up with coach, it’s like we picked up right where we left off. He was very happy where I took the diet to. Talked training, nutrition and drugs. I laid out my thoughts and he generally agreed and gave some dosing suggestions for the upcoming push.

I’m traveling for Christmas this year so I’m ramping test back to 750 and will keep it there until I get back. After that I’m going to bump test to 900 and add EQ at 400. I’ve never used EQ so starting on the lower end to see how E2 responds and I will make adjustments based on that. Going to keep GH at 6 iu. I may play around with this but for now, 6.

Training I talked about how my chest really needs to come up with the rest of me. He agreed and based on my current split. I should be able to hit chest 3x/week.

Nutrition I’m currently going to back to 500c on training days and 250 on off days. I was losing weight ok these amount but with much higher expenditure. I’m cutting the cardio from 40 to 20 minutes and steps from 12-15K to 8K. I’ll see how the look and weight responds as the test ramps up and adjust the carbs after.

Very excited for this next push. I’ve plateaued twice now at around 203-205. This is the time I break through. These pics were fasted this morning at 178.IMG_4746.jpegIMG_4745.jpegIMG_4744.jpegIMG_4743.jpeg

I'm interested to see how you like EQ. Was thinking about trying it my next push as well.

yea because it seems to be a love it or hate it drug. You have to wonder if the reason people hate it is how it acts as an AI before we started to know this is more redentor years. People running it with crashed estrogen and that causing the side effects people describe with EQ.

Hopefully i react well because I’m putting a lot of eggs in this basket 🤣

Lower session today. I had nothing in the tank with hamstrings. So much so that I cut one set off adductor and one set off RDL. Used pure aggression to match my prior output.

Went to hit quads and magically added load and reps to all four sets, go figure. Although, I have noticed in the past this tends to be the trend, hamstrings have a harder time recovering for me whereas my quads can handle a little more volume.

Adductor x1
Leg curl x2
RDL x1
Leg extension x2
Pendulum x2
Calves x2

I only ran it for a very short while (4 weeks if I remember right) one time. 500 Test and 150 EQ, and my E2 was 19. So It is definitely a strong AI in me.

Damn, that is a dramatic response. How do you feel when your E2 is around there? I’ve been around there and feel pretty good. Any lower than that and I’m in trouble

Same as you. I feel pretty good between 20 and 30.

Hit 20 minutes fasted cardio and 15 minute walk before work.

A little more experimenting over the weekend. Took 10mg halo pwo on Saturday and Sunday. I have to say, I was not impressed. Maybe I misused the compound but I was always lead to believe the whole point was acute strength/aggression and I got none of that. Just felt like any other workout.

Sounds bunk but I’ve never tried Halo myself.

Better off with SDROL Injectable! I've found 8mgs to be my sweet spot... anymore than that and I start getting injured.

Mixed feelings on this one…..been stuck on adductor and hamstrings for a while now but I continue to make good progress on quad movements. Usually rest 3 minutes on adductor and hamstrings so I’ll increase the rest time by 1-2 minutes per set. Can’t really decrease the volume further. Plan for 20 minutes cardio in afternoon.

Adductor x1
Leg curl x2
Leg extension x2
Pendulum X2
Calves x2
Single preacher x2
