The Gasman Files

Was feeling spicy after yesterday’s pull session. Really happy with the progress I made over the past 6 months.

Kelso shrugs, T bar rows, lat rows, wide grip pull up. All 6-reps except the pull ups at 0 RIR

Single preacher and hammer curls. 8-12 at 0 RIR

Your back is so thick it’s pretty crazy

13 weeks out. Here we go….

Down two pounds on average from last week. Sitting at 186.

These were this morning coming off a low day yesterday. Flat as a fucking pancake.

Kurt is very happy with the progress. He wants to bump the carbs up on my high day as an experiment. So, 550 grams of carb on the one high day. Food on everything else, unchanged.

Cardio and steps the same.

Gear is the same.IMG_4158.jpegIMG_4165.jpegIMG_4167.jpegIMG_4166.jpeg

12 weeks out

Down another two pounds and sitting around 184

Good week of training. Feeling fresh going into sessions and adding reps when they are there for the taking. I usually keep carbs pretty low for my first two IMG_4216.jpegIMG_4223.jpegIMG_4222.jpegIMG_4224.jpegmeals when I’m at work and then get a bunch of dates in my sister prior to training. About a 100g of carbs worth.

Check in with Kurt was good. He’s happy with the progress. Not making any changes to the food or gear at this point. No changes to cardio or steps. Still at 3 sessions for 30 minutes per week. Averaging 11-12K steps. This is not a difficult number for me to get. I count the steps from cardio since I always like to walk on an incline.

Until next week, now I’m off to crush some Rice Krispies and legs 🫡

11 weeks out.

Good progress this week. Down 1 pound on average at 183. Hit a new overall low at 180.6

Kurt wants to bump the food up. Training days are 400c and one high day is 625c. Other macros stay the same.

No change to gear doses. Plan is to add Clen in later this week. Starting with 40mcg

Steps have been steady at 12k. Some days I’ve hit 14k just from being busy at work. Standard cardio is still 3 sessions at 30 minutes.

Hit legs this morning after my high day. Man what a difference. This is obvious but it feels great.IMG_4264.jpegIMG_4263.jpegIMG_4262.jpegIMG_4243.jpeg

Looking good 11 weeks out homie. Clen will hit nicely at this point as always gets a nice swoosh when introduced.

We're competing on the same weekend. :)
yea it will be interesting. I have never used clen so I’m curious how I will react

Assuming you guys start at 20mcg...you should see a drop in weight that week as your NEAT will increase. It hits right away and gives a nice bump to energy levels.
I gotta stay busy on clen..the jitters/ancy feeling really set in if I'm not active, which works well at my job, bcus there is not much sitting..

I’ve been really digging this meal post workout. It’s a rip off from Wesley Vissers and it’s amazing.

One serving cream of rice. 200 grams strawberries and 125g banana. Topped with chocolate iso that’s mixed with just enough water to create a drip.

I'm stealing that

Another great week of prep in the book.

Dropped another 1.5 pounds in average (181.9) and hit a new overall low today (179.8)

Kurt tells me I’m ahead and he bumped my food up on training and non training day. Carbs up to 450 on training and 200 on non training. This way if we need to adjust there’s plenty of room.

It’s been so helpful having a great coach guiding me. If I tried doing this myself I’d be on poverty calories already. Money well spent.

Added in Clen at 40mcg. So far so good. No side effects. Other gear is the same 450 test 300 primo, 5 IU GH.IMG_4511.jpegIMG_4510.jpegIMG_4509.jpegIMG_4467.jpeg

Just spent an hour reading this log. Worth it. Awesome progress and you are built like a tank. Great back.

I just started with Justin Harris a couple weeks ago so it's cool to see how Kurt is handling your food. Keep us updated on your progress. Can't wait to see you shredded.

Thank you brother. Will do.

Yea I didn’t foresee my food going up in prep since it’s my first time competing but I can’t complain. Good luck with Justin. A top notch coach for sure 👍🏻

Yea I thought that was pretty coo. He thought you where dropping weight too fast?

Exactly. He says there’s plenty of time and doesn’t want me risking the potential muscle loss. If I need to crank it up it will be no problem
The conservative thing to do especially for your first show. Always better to play it safe as nobody knows how your body will respond at lower bodyfat %'s

As you get more experienced you can do shit like being aggressive between the 12-6 weeks out area with the thinking you have the bodyfat to dip into on the aggressiveness as opposed to trying to go nuts pushing/losing muscle the last 4 weeks on dumb low calories, this way you can come in early and slightly increasing/cruising up into the show.

You guys will kill it!

It’s almost like I’m talking to Kurt 😂

Your clients are lucky to have you as a coach brother

Quick update…..

Clen is nice, no noticeable stimulant side effects. On Kurt’s recommendation I already bumped it to 60mcg with the intention of going to 80 by next week.

According to him, 40mcg is the minimal dose and doesn’t cause any down regulation of beta 2. Works for me

I swiped some ephedrine from my work cart. Injected 2.5mg IM before morning cardio. Headed in to work and was still feeling the effects for a couple hours post injection. 2.5 seems to be an effective dose, not much data or dose recommendations since the only medical indication for ephedrine is low blood pressure under anesthesia. There is obviously a difference with oral dosing being higher most likely due to bioavailability. I’ll run with 2.5 until it stops
working.

I also tried this apparel company Raskol. Nicely constructed stringer with an old school vibe. Feel free to check them out

9 weeks out

No change in the weekly average (181.9) and no new lows after the food was bumped up.

Kurt says I look leaner despite this but we are going to adjust the food back down to where the scale was moving and leave the high day as is. Looking like this

Training day 180p 350c 20f
Non training 180p 140c 40f
High day 180p 625c 0F

No changes to cardio/steps or gear. Two more weeks we will swap out for short esters and swap primo for mast.
