T4 half life is 7 Days???

Dunno really but my guess is that thyroid meds are more level-sensitive than AAS, for instance, so you want a smoother blood level curve. Also, T3 is much shorter at 2.5 days which suggests ED dosing is ideal, and if you take em both may as well dose em together.

Or not. :D

I am assuming you're talking about T4 usage for HGH.

I think the half life is probably the time the drug will circulate if left alone. Unlike things like caber that bind to a receptor and exert effects before it "falls off" , T4 gets converted into a different compound in the body so levels are going to decrease as its used on top of its normal rare of decay.

Possibly BC you achieve peak serum levels 2-4 hours after but I don't see that as a complete answer. Obviously if your using it for legit lack of thyroid output you need it daily but I was pondering this same question the other day when researching t4 usage with HGH. Drs start you only the lowest dose possible to give your heart time to adjust to metabolism change and to avoid too high level (which has all kinds of bad sides). Being that it also converts to t3 I was surprised so many HGH users ran it daily. I'd like to hear more thoughts as well.

To maintain stable blood plasma levels. The same reason why someone would dose cyp/enanthate EOD, the same reason why, for maintaing more stable estrogen levels AI's should be dosed frequently.

The half-life should be including both the metabolic breakdown and conversion losses, which is really the same thing as far as circulating T4 levels are concerned.

I personally think using T3 is better than T4 because you aren't relying on conversion to T3, which won't be as predictable, you just dose it directly.

Folks say you need T4, though, to maximize your hgh effects, so . . .
