Title says it. Tell me the do's and don'ts while on TRT! Script through a clinic, so all the formalities are covered. Levels came back at 370; they like to get them to the 900's but it's based on "how I feel" so I'll probably push to the 1K mark and such. I'm 37 and have really started feeling the effects of low T over the last few years.

My main goal is to feel like a living human again, but also obviously want to get real serious with my fitness now given the circumstances. So what are some things I should look into doing, what should I absolutely stay away from doing, and etc? HGH in the near future? I know I'll be hopping on Reta here shortly once first bloods get taken in December. Don't want to mess with those right away.

Don’t ignore hydration, and avoid fast/junk food. Dial in your nutrition, eat clean Whole Foods, prioritize sleep for recovery and your body will change- rather quickly too if you’re out of shape. You’re barely on your second pin- so pinning x2 a week might be okay for you or you might get minor sides- too early to tell. If you do get sides- consider pinning daily. Keeps your levels stable and pretty much rids of all sides (don’t quote me on that- it’s anecdotal for most). Consider HGH and Reta once you’ve dialed in the base of your operation. Good luck, spud 🥔!

Thanks for the constructive reply!

My script is only for .25 ml twice a week; 50 weekly. Is that something that can even be split daily?

Do: pin on a regular schedule. More frequent pins tend to help keep estrogen managed if you struggle with higher e2 on less frequent dosages.
Eat healthy
Train your ass off

Don’t: do meth. Don’t eat like a fat cow. Don’t shake it 3 times or you’re playing with your self

Keep on eye on RBC and HCT. I find I need to drink a lot more water on TRT or else my hematocrit gets stupid. Hgb sits high 17s into the 18s but when improperly hydrated it’s in the low 16s. I feel 1000000x better.

Can you confirm you're stateside?

If so, .25 mL would equal 50 mg based on the standard 200 mg/mL testosterone cypionate concentration.

Also, don't get caught up chasing a number. The goal should be to alleviate the symptoms and improve how you feel, not simply hit a particular lab value. Hopefully, your practitioner is approaching it the same way.

This sounds trivial and overlooked, but hydration is absolutely the most crucial thing in my book.

Sleep is close, for obvious reasons.

I've actually noticed my urine has been really yellow since last week. I don't drink a TON of water anymore right now, but I usually have enough to keep it clear. Maybe this is why? Interesting.

What about muscle aches in the morning? I've had muscle aches in the morning every day since, and until today, a headache each morning. It passes like 10 minutes after waking and getting some energy.

You're going to be in demand for more minerals and nutrients just for the fact that you're on testosterone.

Drink more water, it's that simple.

Along with the other advice you’ve gotten my best advice is stick to the protocol you’ve been prescribed. Don’t do anything until you get your protocol dialed in and that could take 10-12 months. Once it’s dialed in and you want to blast, now you have your dose to go back to on a cruise. No guessing after the blast.

Yeah, thank you, I didn't even really think about that. Appreciate it.
