I started my new job today ..I also got fired today . My coworkers were joking with me and I said blame it on the guy that doesn't speak English. Apparently that wasn't funny and I got walked out the door at 4pm .

first off, you are at work to make money to pay bills that is all, these people arent your friends, and even after you been somewhere and make work friends they still aint your friends. They are colleagues, dont joke around with them like you would at your own back yard having beers. Also outside work dont drink too much around these people and dont say shit about work politics, just say I havent given it much thought or maybe I will consider that right now I have to sweep these floors.
