Hi all, thanks so much for all the advice here.
I have dramatically improved my health and well being since joining the group here in November of last year and taking the advice.

I have two issues I am working on now:
1) I am not getting good deep sleep. I have tried melatonin based products, xanax(works but I dont like to take it every day) and a few other things. I saw on a peptide site something called: Relaxation Blend PM that contains: 100mg Gaba, 1mg Melatonin, 100mg Arginine and 25mg glutamine. This is an SC injectable.
Anyone with experience using a stack like this or other recommendations?

2) I got an MRI back on my right shoulder and it was like I thought, torn rotator cuff.
Specifically: There is a full-thickness tear of the supraspinatus tendon. The torn tendon fibers are retracted to roughly the glenoid rim. There is moderate fatty atrophy of the supraspinatus muscle belly. The infraspinatus, teres minor, and subscapularis tendons are intact.
Highlights of the diagnosis:
  1. Full-thickness tear of the supraspinatus tendon with retraction of the torn tendon fibers to the superior glenoid rim.
  2. Moderate degenerative hypertrophy of the AC joint.
  3. Prior biceps tenodesis suspected
  4. Mild degenerative osteoarthritis of the glenohumeral joint.
Like a lot of folks here I am sure, I tore my rotator cuff when I made a mistake with a heavy dumbbell press back in 2017...but general lifting over the last 30 years or so has caused damage as well.

The issue with 2 now is that my right arm is much weaker than the left and heavy lifting, say bench press, inflicts quite a bit of pain to the right shoulder.
Dr. who did the MRI wants to do something called a reverse shoulder replacement.
Anyhoo, I want to see if folks here had any thoughts on a healing peptide or something to help support/strengthen tendons.
I would rather try injecting something before getting surgery.

I moderate any serious conversation, no news or things of the such, relax the last couple hours, blue blockers for watching phones/screens my last couple hour as well. and melatonin. Usually good for at least 6 straight hours if not more.

Most rotator tears seem to come from people falling and sticking their arm out as they are falling to catch themselves. I tore mine in a car wreck. Then finisher tearing the infraspinatus and supraspinatus off the bone flat benching. From my reading after a reverse rotator surgery weight limitations are 25 pounds at most occasionally. I got a partial Ream and Run as there are not limitations from that after healing has been completed. That was 12 years ago. I don't lift heavy anymore only in the 200-250 pound range on machines. I worked up to the 100 pound dumbbells but that started causing some tendonitis issues so dropped back down to 80's.

I just ordered some mk677 from gym n tonic that has some sleep aids in it. (Somatozine oral) I haven’t recieved it yet but when I start it I’ll let u know how it works. I too sleep like dog shit. If I’m lucky I get 5 hours total a night. I’m up like every hour-2hours. Can’t ever get a real rest

Body pillow. Brown noise. Don't stop doing things all day ie yard work, caulk and touch up paint your house. Don't take breaks, don't watch TV, don't sit down -well except to dump. Do this for a couple days like a weekend and exhaust you body to force it to sleep. And hit the bpc and tb

I alternate CBD & valerian root to help get to sleep. Sometimes I still wake up at 3:00 am and can’t get back to sleep. Probably high e2 in my case.
For injury healing I had good experience with BPC-157 & TB-500 healing my achilles tendon. I ran the combo for some shoulder & elbow pain , but I’m not sure if it helped. Worth a shot though.

There are no drugs known to man that will repair that.

I’ve had 7 shoulder surgeries, 2 were to reattach a bicep tendon (each side) and several glenoid tears.

You need surgery. You don’t need anything with the words replacement in it. They can repair the injuries and leave your shoulder intact. Take your MRI and go get a second opinion.

But you still need surgery.

Have you considered HGH?
I started it a couple months ago and it's worked wonders for elbow tendonitis and shoulder irritation. It also makes me sleep like a rock.
^definitely the way to go

Ive gone through phases of "sleeping" for 15 hours a day because my sleep quality was so poor that all those hours were doing nothing and I'd wake up deathly tired.
Hgh has had a huge impact on my quality of sleep, in turn improving my quality of life overall.

BPC/TB is working well for me as I just recently torn my left achilles tendon completely and had little to no pain post op so sleep is not a problem for me.

Magnesium -helps me get to sleep and I stay asleep.

I have a hard time turning off my brain and staying asleep. I talked to my pcp and she offered buspar. I told her no thanks.

My pre-bed protocol is valerian/chamomile tea, 20mg melatonin and an indica brownie (10mg THC) that we make. I do sleep better and usually don't even wake up to pee, that’s an accomplishment at my age lol.

This. Did people miss he has a full tear of the supraspinatus?

It doesn't matter what he takes supplement/drug wise. Surgery. THEN you take HGH and whatever aids you choose to recover, BPC, etc.

I’ve had reverse shoulder replacement recommended by two orthopedic doctors that were not sports minded doctors because both my RC tears were not fixable. I had another doctor that is sports minded tell me that they are usually only done on people that are 65 years old and older due to the weight lifting restrictions plus they only last a few years if your more physically active. Don’t quote me word for word but those are the bullet points I remember. I’d really look into that surgery before going down that road.

Sure sounds like it.

I've found many people read the thread title and glaze over the content posts. They try to add something useful but often miss crucial info.

The OP probably needs some pain meds and surgery. Just not a shoulder replacement of any sort.

I’ve had 7 shoulder surgeries, 2 to reattach biceps on both sides. A full tear of the supraspinatus is fixable. If they can’t get it back fully from retraction to the tendon head, they can still anchor it to the bone.

I don’t know all the medical mumbo jumbo but I’m sure your correct brother. I just know in my case 10 years ago the Doc I had opened me up to try and repair both shoulders. He claimed there wasn’t enough of whatever left to attach to anything. He cleaned scar tissue out a few times but other than that said I stood a better chance at that time in my career dealing with the pain and learning to use them as is. I’m sure I’m forgetting important parts like always but that’s what I remember. Maybe he was a quack but it seemed to work out ok for me back then. Maybe that’s why I’ve had shoulder issues on and off ever since. Who knows. I’m no Doctor so wtf do I know. 🤷‍♂️

Yes, sometimes the tear isn’t at the tendon head and in that case it’s not repairable. The best you can do at that point is rehab to strengthen the remaining tendons and alter your workouts to minimize load in that area.
