I think “solid tissue” is a lot harder to quantify than people make it sound. Even with training, nutrition, sleep, and everything else dialed in, the amount of actual new muscle you can retain in a year varies massively with training age and genetics. I’d focus less on a specific yearly number and more on steady strength/performance progress, body composition, and keeping health markers in a good range rather than trying to maximize the rate of gain.Just been thinking.
