I bought a huge bottle of magnesium 400mg and that pill would tear up my stomach. I would wake up with my stomach boiling and fighting to not puke. I took it 3 times, maybe it was the brand or too high of a dose. I believe I have an iron gut otherwise. My go to is THC gummies or smoke a joint. I get to sleep, no dreams etc. I get a solid 6 hours but I think it's not "quality" sleep. I think I'm going to try the zinc/magnesium method you mentioned
Was it Magnesium Glycinate ? I take 420 mg a night, no gut issues.I bought a huge bottle of magnesium 400mg and that pill would tear up my stomach. Best to avoid phenibut, imo. Leaves me hungover and can be habit forming if used often. It was a nasty drug when I used it. Be careful if you do try itGreat thread. Here I am reading it at 2am. Been asleep for 3 hours. This has been my nightly routine for years. Melatonin and many other things don’t work. Gotta go see my doc. Phenibut sounds interesting.
You probably used citrate or oxide. Get glycinate if you want it for relaxation. I use a liquid magnesium from trace minerals or NOW when trace isn't available. Definitely helps my sleep without much issue with my stomach.I bought a huge bottle of magnesium 400mg and that pill would tear up my stomach. Biglycinate actually works even better and less stomach issues I have found.Yes, it's magnesium oxide. I'll try glycinate, thank you.
You just convinced me on the phenibut. I do take magnesium malate but more for my heart health than sleep. I’m also diabetic and the malate is recommended for that. It does nothing for my sleep. I tried gummies and just woke up high 4 hours later. Not for me.Best to avoid phenibut, imo. Leaves me hungover and can be habit forming if used often. It was a nasty drug when I used it.
