Yes, if you want to be accurate. Go cook some sweet potato and measure raw vs cooked or if you eyeball the water you use in rice, raw meat vs cooked, etc.

Its ballpark vs being accurate. Both are fine depending on the person.
 
I feel if you’re consistent from the start and don’t switch up it doesn’t really matter just pick one and stick with it. I’ve done both. Also like ketchup said things like water measurements etc def make a difference so everything HAS to be consistent.
 
eate halfway healthy should be no need to weigh unless its to get ingredients right or something
Agree 100% for the average person, but for someone who wants to know exactly how much they are consuming at a given time for whatever reason their goal may be, that's when you'd do it.
