With all the back and forth going on lately about lab testing and results coming back lower I decided after 3 years of running SB Labs products to send a sample of one of my 10 unopened Primo I stocked up on the last two drops myself. Although I have always trusted the gents at SB and the results I have had in my journey always proved to me that their tests were real and the products were exactly what I was being sold I just wanted to make certain. I have seen so many long time customers of these other vendors posting about how they have been let down for years now that the truth has come out. I figured being I was sitting on about 1400 dollars of Primo in today’s market what was a few more dollars to ensure I was pinning exactly what I thought I was. First and foremost once again SB didn’t let me down and secondly thank you for being someone we can all trust.

Not doubting the primo, but what’s the deal with these short lead times these days? Did Jano change his order/invoicing system?

This is what mine looked like in the past.

Just notified that Jano has a new system and it shows differently if you pay for rushed service.

That sample I posted above, I mailed from Mexico and an identical batch of samples from the USA the next day.
The Mexican post got them there in a month, the USPS took over six weeks.

Thanks dude
Coach you happy?
No I am not calling you that name 😜🤣
I think it goes a long way to explain it. It wasn't that long ago people were "finessing" the PDFs. Given the last few weeks, EVERYTHING should be explained to be above board on everything.
It benefits EVERYONE.
If a dude is paying $200+ to FedEx a sample along with the high price of testing, it behooves them to exploit the process to its fullest.

If I ever get an HPLC rig, I will be making much of this testing free or close to it for the forum. But then I will become the suspicious guy....that's how it works.

Mail going to Europe is oddly efficient

Last time we sent a package to Jano we used standard shipping - took 3 days if I recall correctly, and part of the shipment was tested the day it arrived.

While sending a package within the same state somehow took 9 days recently...

So while the TA is pretty damn impressive, I don't see any issues with it :)

When I sent my stuff to Jano in July I used pirateship. Was like $60 iirc and got to Europe in a couple days through UPS then just a couple more to get through customs, so like a week since I think there was a weekend in the middle. Wasn’t priority or anything, but I guess all UPS is priority compared to USPS.

Separate (noob) question that I’ve read around on but still am not sure about. Do most sponsors give some kind of credit for testing (and is it just tribal knowledge to know who does/doesn’t), or is it case by case?

I send mine out regardless since the dollars matter less to me than knowing what I have (they matter but not as much as knowing what I’m using while still figuring the trusted source thing out as a noob), but it would be a nice cheat sheet to see which sponsors back themselves by making blind testing whole.

I can't speak for other sponsors but we do reimburse the cost for the testing. As I am coming up with a protocol for testing our products there are certain ways of going about things. I should have a thread in the stickies this weekend. We have protocols for almost everything. No different than builders standards stuff like I do want to keep it blind but I don't want to be scrambling when results come in to get reimbursement out. So after you send it out notify a rep kinda stuff and stay within standards.
Hope that helps

I sent some samples on Tuesday using FedEx, won't get to Jano until the 27th. I just used standard shipping
