Going to do a log to share the good the bad and the ugly. I have ran the peptides and test in different settings but this is primarily focused on the Retatrutide. I’m running the pros and test to limit lean tissue loss and help with sleep. I’m not sure how it is for everyone else but when I cut I get horrible insomnia. I will keep the test at just a mid range and keep it constant at 500 mcg per week split in two pins. I have ran high test alone and it is definitely my favorite cycle but like I said this is more based as a cycle support for the Reta. I read a post from Wes where he said 500 mcg of Reta zapped his appetite so that is going to be my entry point and I will remain at it until I feel like progress has stalled. My goal is to shed about 15 pounds. My walk around diet is healthy ish. I used to drink a bourbon every evening and when I stopped I suddenly wanted sweets, so when I eat out I always hold back for some crazy dessert. If the Reta hits like I have read my diet is going to have to be dialed back to ensure that what goes in is nutrient dense. I’m running the peps at 400 mcg/ 400 mcg split in two doses with one dose being 30 minutes before bed. I might end up moving to the total dose before bed but I want to see how a post workout pin goes and also curious if the 200/200 before bed will aid with sleep on its own.
First Reta pin was 12/27 evening.

When I ran Sema before I immediately got a nauseous feeling for about 24 hours post pin. That didn’t happen this time but it could be due to the low entry. I wanted to start on the low side to see at was dose did I notice the scale moving week over week. Goal is 1.5 pounds a week for 10 weeks.

Week 1 items I’m tracking

BF, 22%
Average hours slept nightly prior week, 6.5
Daily calorie average 2,900
Energy 7/10
Mood 8/10
Libido 10/10 but in a new relationship so that is expected.

Wanted to put an update on the log

Took the first dose on Saturday and I noticed a huge drop in food cravings. I can eat but like with the Sema it is feeling full fast meals. I didn’t get that feeling with the Sema until about week 3 or 4. My suggestion is definitely start low and ease I to it. O could see how very easily you just start skipping important macros. Today I am experimenting with only eating when I’m hungry aside from my post workout shake and meal. I honestly think I could just go all day without and that is not healthy. Eating becomes intentional and that makes it easy to plan and put proper nutrition where it belongs, at the top.

Finished first week and did my Saturday pm injection at the 500mcg dose. I noticed last week after the first injection that my appetite fell off significantly for the first three days and started coming back by the end of the third day beginning of the fourth. So I did some research and saw that reta has a half life of six days so by day 3 my serum level would have decreased by 1/4 of the 500mcg original dose. In my in no way scientific opinion that tells me that the trigger point with me is 375mcg and if that holds then after this weeks injection the appetite shouldn’t return until post cycle. Started the peptides and my sleep is starting to be a bit better after 7 days. Dosing at 300mcg of both right before bed, 30 minutes give or take and it is on an empty stomach.

Just about to wrap up another week. Appetite has zero food noise. In truth just hitting macro goals takes focus because of I wanted to I could just not eat. My energy is there and workouts have been productive, did have a setback with an aggravated groin, but I think I can train around it. That sucks because legs have been a huge focus as of late and I have been hitting them twice a week. I’m hoping it is just a strain due to an upcoming training exercise involving ice climbing and bouldering, both require me to have a solid base but that is getting off topic. My energy is fantastic which is wild because I think I’m averaging around 2200 calories a day. I would not be able to hit protein goal without multiple shakes. I have had zero stomach issues which is fantastic. The CJC1295/ Ipamorelin has definitely started improving sleep quality but I do wake up groggy. Cardio is at an acceptable level and I’m not feeling aggravated from hunger, usually when I cut without peptides I can get a super short fuse. I am meal prepping on Sunday and Thursday eating the same thing every day, something I hated when cutting or bulking. Adding BPC 157 and TB500 tonight to the mix to help with the groin and some tennis elbow. Part of it is I’m just getting old and I still try to do so much mid 20’s shit. Hope this info is of use to anyone.

Doing my check in for the midweek since tomorrow I will be offshore all day. One thing I can say is that my appetite is definitely gone as far as food noise but I can eat when I decide to do so. I’m living off of boiled eggs, overnight oats with fresh strawberries and blueberries, canned tuna with mustard, grilled chicken, broccoli, cocoa rice cakes and peanut butter, beef protein isolate with banana, strawberries, and peanut butter. I just adjust the portions to add up to my calorie goal. So far I have dropped 6lbs but the drop has smoothed out so it isn’t so drastic and it should hit the 1.5 pound per week goal. The goal was 15 total pounds with the hope most of it would be body fat. I’m still strong in the gym but from the lower calorie intake there has been a pullback which I expected. Obliques are starting to get a slight finger like striated look and my lower abdominal v is definitely getting more pronounced. I think most of that is just due to less food flowing through my stomach. Surprisingly my energy is still decent and I’m getting sleep at night. I do take an otc sleep aid, GABA, and magnesium before bed along side the peptide injection. I don’t really expect much improvement from the peptide until another two or three weeks. No drop in libido or overall mood thankfully and yesterday I was so busy doing work outside that I completely forgot to eat for like 9 hours. I think Reta is a game changer for cutting for sure and so far it has been a positive experience. I did get diarrhea for a few days which resulted in an emergency outdoor situation two miles into a seven mile hike but momma didn’t raise no quitter. That few days of diarrhea was honestly the only issue I have experienced.

Been a bit since I updated this but I can definitely say this stuff is by far my favorite of the GLP offerings. I have dropped 7 pounds since starting and I think running the 500mgs of Test per week is making the cut mostly fat. Strength is staying there in the gym and energy is still good through the day. The other peptides are definitely helping with sleep and I added in BPC 157 and TB500 for some tennis elbow and that is working wonders. Definitely leaning out nicely throughout my midsection which is really what I wanted. One odd thing and I’m not sure if it is in my head or if there is some science here but the reta seems to help with cravings in general. I loved smokeless tobacco for years and transitioned to the nicotine pouches but when I started the reta I would go longer and longer in between pouches, so I just stopped all together. It has been three weeks now with no nicotine so if it is an unintended side effect then I’m all for it.

Okay so what I have found out is that the appetite is impacted pretty significantly at the start and as your body adapts you can kind of adjust the dose upwards in small increments to get to the space you want. Reta does a great job of controlling food “noise” but I can still eat on it. I will most likely run Reta for the next year or so and add in various other peptides like MOTS-C, SS 31, and 1 amino 5mq. If you need anything feel free to post it in this thread or message me. Reta has way more benefits than simply losing weight and I didn’t realize that going into it. It torches fat in your liver which is a huge part of age related decline. Decreased fat in the liver and around the pancreas resulting in less inflammation and better insulin sensitivity. I highly recommend the compound and if you follow my protocol in this thread you will see results with limited side effects. I am currently taking 3mg a week for reference. I have lost about twelve pounds but strength has remained and I’m getting vascular in my lower abdomen.
