Is there an active rep on here? I placed an order, sent payment via website portal, but received zero confirmation or bounce back email confirming funds received. Everything was super easy but just doesn’t seem like anyone is at the wheel.

What website did you use?

The website in the banner, used the first time 25% discount ASF25 and everything

Then just give it some time. It took minutes for my first order to show paid and almost 12 hours for my second order to show paid.

Much appreciated, just wanted some confirmation that not hearing anything is normal.

As long as it was the legit site you’re good. I’ve also had bitcoin take a long ass time to send as well. They’re also still trying to catch up from their Easter sale.

Log into your K4L account, your order will be there, if it says “Processed” it means your payment has been received, if it says “Completed” it means a label has been created and it should be on its way soon.
Check your spam folder also, could be there.

Update

They got back to me and I learned something that might be beneficial to this forum. I made the order and paid through the website as intended but what happened is that the bitcoin amount that was sent encountered higher than normal gas fees causing the payment to come in a little light, ~$5/$6 to be exact and that hung the order up. This tells me their system is highly automated and once they saw what was up the issue was resolved. It is wild that when o first joined this board some sponsors I used had no website, took cash in the mail after enough orders, and took weeks to get orders. Now it’s point click, drop an encrypted payment, enter some info and boom Bob’s your uncle. I appreciate the responses fellas, have a solid day.

Weirdest thing about their system is they say to send the exact bitcoin amount and NOT the dollar value.

They should just do the dollar value to avoid this sort of hang up since bitcoin fluctuates so quickly

Exactly, and that small fluctuation can hang the order up. Olivia was super helpful though.

Doing the bitcoin amount is how they’re able to automate it. All of the extra decimals means that there’s almost a zero chance two people will have the same price in bitcoin on any given day or week. The error was probably on OP, not K4L

It was absolutely on me, I didn’t give it enough overage to cover.

Problem is if you gave it overage you’re not sending the exact bitcoin amount. Last time I sent it, by the time I sent it the dollar value was actually like 50 cents more than the order was.

But like Op said, he wound up being short due to the shift in bitcoin price between the system giving him a bitcoin amount and him sending. Not really on him for the price being low. If they say “send .0843 bitcoin” and he sends it then it’s on them if the fluctuation over the 2-3 minutes shifts it under the price.

It doesn’t fluctuate if you send the exact amount of bitcoin by sending bitcoin. Then the USD amount fluctuates on the back side instead of vice versa. It’s pretty simple.

No...
.0843 bitcoin will stay .0843 bitcoin no matter how the USD price of bitcoin fluctuates
EDIT: ope, beat by that guy up there ^^^
So despite the value of the bitcoin being less after sending it will still be the same amount on their end despite being less?

So they receive 1 bitcoin at 100k but it’s 90k when they receive it so they receive 1 bitcoin + whatever it takes to add the lost 10k?

Guess you learn something new everyday

Wonder how why he got flagged then for not sending enough I he sent the exact bitcoin amount.

So if you send someone bitcoin, you can pick to send a specific amount in bitcoin OR send a certain dollar’s amount of bitcoin. If you choose the former, it sends that exact amount of bitcoin. If you choose the latter, the bitcoin amount WILL change to match the spot USD price. OP probably did the latter

Here’s how it looks in CashApp. The one with bitcoin on top will send that exact amount of bitcoin. The one with USD on top will adjust the bitcoin amount on bottom whenever you hit send. Pretty easy to mess up

Okay so it’s what I was thinking. I must have misunderstood OP when he said that he was short $5-6. I thought it was the price of the bitcoin changing so it wasn’t matching the dollar value of the orders

That is what I was saying, I was given the cost, bought the bitcoin, and sent the bitcoin. I bought over the amount and sent over the amount. For example let’s say the cost was $100, and I bought $105, immediately sent it and $98 hit the box on their end.
