Raw testosterone powder ie. Not testosterone esters for synthesis of dht

I know there's a source section but im looking for advice beyond that first dht is some what easy to make from testosterone but almost all shops sell only testosterone esters which can be removed but it would be easier and help improve yield if It was raw second what do you think of dht synthesis this will be my first at home synthesis
