first ever thread, forgive me fellas.

Anyway, for the last few months i've dabbled with peptides (ghrp-2, mod-grf (or cjc/no dac), and ipamorelin). Had great results and enjoyed them alot. strength gains, some size, sleep, skin, the whole nine yards.

Recently however, i began having some kind of reaction to them, specifically - breaking out in hives on my lower abdomen or even shoulders. This, i did not like, so it prompted me to look for an alternative and drop the peps. :(

Behold, MK-677 from ironmagresearch. An oral substitute that only needs to be administered once a day, sweet! (or so i thought).

It's now my 3rd day on the MK-677 @ 25mg/day and my 7th day off the peptides. Hives are still appearing regularly on me. i use anti-histamines which work for around 24 hours which helps, but after 24 hours they come back and its now a regular theme.

This has lead me to believe i no longer mix well with any effective gh secretagogues.

Now the logical solution here is to just regularly take anti-histamines and it shouldn't be an issue, but what i'm basically here for is, why the hell is this happening? i've heard of allergic reactions to mod-grf and cjc, but i didn't think it would also happen with the MK?

call me crazy but is my body reacting to elevated gh levels? (that sounds ridiculous)

any help is appreciated, cheers boys.

Are you sure it is/was the peps?? You didn't change anything topically (soaps, etc.)? Any new foods? Could be anything to be honest. Really break down anything and everything that could contribute. Not just peptides. Hope something changes for you tho....

knew i forgot to mention something..

yes im certain its the peps/mk, nothing else in my routine has changed. When i was still using the peps i would get a local reaction soon after injection. With the MK its been isolated to around the midsection.

Definitely sounds like an allergic reaction to the peps and/or the injection spot.

If it was me, I'd stop till it goes away. Start adding the peps back slowly and look for any reactions. If they come back you may need a long break.

Just an approach I use with any allergic reaction. May or may not have anything to do with your body's GH/IGF production.
