I got a kid that is trying to do that. Says hes gonna do it full time. I dont think thats possible. He is graduating a 2 year music production course. Says he is going to have a studio and make 300 per hour. Im thinking sure you are. Thoughts?

theres no money in music, they probably filled his head with dreams, it was good money before streaming, first of all musicians are broke, they want you to basically work on their project for free. And if you know a little about EQ of sound and how to place mics you can do it all with a laptop and protools. use to have to spend tons of money on outboard gear like preamps and filters but now the programs are so good you can get all the effects and sounds out of pro tools or logic. I know a lot of musicians and music industry folk, we are all poor
