OK, just to give a little background, I have been on TRT for about 8 to 10 years successfully and every couple years or so I’ll do a full on cycle of test cup.

I have good quality gear from a well-known source here that I’ve used in the past with no issues whatsoever.

The problem having is, I started pinning a couple of weeks ago, and I immediately get a sharp pain almost like a stinging feeling that last a few hrs , followed by the next few days of a lump and redness (about the size of a few inches round) in the area. It takes about five or six days to fully go away. I never had this issue before from the supplier and or never had this issue before when using pharmaceutical grade.

I even tried using a different bottle from the same supplier thinking maybe the dose was just too high and was irritating my body, but there was no change.

Again, this current supplier is awesome and never had any issues before, at the same time I’m just trying to get this sorted out.

Is it normal? Is it something I just have to deal with? Is it possible my body has become allergic to the oil etc? Any help is appreciated.

Contact the source bro. See if they changed carrier oils, make sure of the carrier and compare it with your pharma. Its definitely not something you HAVE to deal with. If its that bad throw it away and grab something from someone else. Plenty of sponsors here using different carrier oils. What is the concentration? And yes its possible youve become allergic, not exactly likely but definitely possible. Age is a bitch brother lol

It’s test cyp250. I hate throwing away all this gear, but maybe you’re right.
If its alot of vials to waste i get not wanting to do that. Perhaps grab some others w a different carrier and cut it 50/50... im not positive that would help tho if its an allergic reaction...

Benzyl Benzoate 20%

Benzyl Alchohol 2%

MCT Oil

One last thing, I totally forgot to mention, it’s from 2024. It was stored properly tho and I confirmed with supplier before injecting.

Hard call bro...ive used vials older w no issue...but you never know...if it was just pippy id say deal w it, but the redness and inflammation makes me worry a little bit. Idk how youre doing financially but if it was me id scrap it and start w new vials. No gear is worth the risk of infection and 6 days of pip and inflammation has to be affecting your training.

Yep you’re right. Money isn’t worth an infection. Sucks when the source has been great in the past, but it’s time to find another source. FYI I’m sending you a DM.

I'll get hammered for this one, but I never run old ass gear. I've never found the need to stockpile years worth of stuff and even take the risk to run something 2-3+ years old. Its way too available and way too affordable. I bottle or test is around $40 and between a doctor visit, copays, and antibiotics, the math dont math. Around 12 months is my max. I get what I need, run what I need, then go back to the store.

Like I said, my opinion on this differs from many but the way I see it, If I throw out old stuff and I just happen to be wrong about it, I'm safe. If someone decides its good and they happen to be wrong about it, its a problem. I always take the zero risk method when I can.
