No gym around me has pullover machines

Rope pull over on the cable or an incline bench with a straight bar on the cables is nice too

I’ve never used them, I think they’re fucking awesome, but I wouldn’t buy one. If I’m buying 1 piece of gym equipment it’d be either some sort of squat machine or cable station for versatility. Can target so many things, lat pull over it’s just that.

Oh I would love to have a free motion dual cable machine. The holy grail of cables. I couod never get it into my basement.

I am thinking about buying one of these for my basement. Dorian Yates swore by them. Takes biceps out. Thoughts?

I actually have the same one Dorian used.....lol.. Fully restored, and in storage.
A piece of my retirement.
You dont even know what that fucker cost me 8 yrs ago.....

Hey while we’re all here…. How many sets per week are you guys getting on average for your back muscles.

Right now I’m at 3 movements at 3 sets per movement twice a week. So around 18 sets. It seems like a lot but it doesn’t feel like a lot. Just getting back in the swing of things.

20-25 sets total. Same for chest.

My gym don’t have any of them either but my gym sucks, planet fitness blows but that’s only gym that’s within 10 mins from my house, other gyms are kike 40-45 mins away, by time I get off work my gym so crowded you can’t get on shit, then you got guys who put their jackets on smith machines and just walk around do other shit then come back to the smith machine and it pisses me off…. There are 4 smith machines in my gym and these people will hang their jackets or just stay on them machines for over an hour hogging it , so I gave up going after work, I get off around 7pm and they close at 10pm near me because I live in a bad area and I guess they don’t want the gym open past 10 because of the crime . It’s either I go to gym before work at 7am or just weekends now

25 ish sets based on 6 day PPL Split.

Reps between 8-15

You can do em on a bench....Its easy to go heavy if you have someone hand you the weight.
Yea but realistically you only get half the range of motion as u would on a true pull over machine so fuck it I’ll do cheat rows and be gay.

Ask them politely to take their jackets off so you can use the equipment...
You guys are being too nice....lol

I have two at my gym. Machine and a free weight. They're all right, but I feel it so much better standing using cables

If I was you, my goal would be to save up and buy some used equipment and find or build a space for it at your house.
