Netflix Reviews and Recommendations

Archer seasons 1-13 now available on Netflix... One of the best animated series of all time. Season 1 is still my favorite season
I used to love this show. Back on my 3-11 days…. Every night with my last meal of the day and sometimes a couple beers and a little archer.

Finished all seasons of Archer... Good watch... Seen Beverly Hills Cop Alex Foley.... Was ok with nostalgic aspects but nothing great....
Did see this is now available
If memory serves correctly there is some brutality that will make you uncomfortable in it... Will watch it soon

Still need to watch this as well

I didn't make it too far into it. If you like the really old ones that are 100% japanese made, then you might be ok with it. I might not have given it enough of a chance to get rolling, but about 30 minutes was all I could do. And I really like godzilla (all giant monster) flicks.

Coming soon. Part one was pretty good

I'm skipping that horror western. It's beyond fucked up from the synopsis I read. Like Ned Beatty taking it in the pooper messed up...and then some.

Not sure what kinda flicks you prefer. But I thought it was awesome. Bone tomahawk.. seemed pretty original.and it was like a legit period piece.i had to watch it a few times. Watched it for what it was. Then watched it for the western aspect then again as a horror film. Enjoyed it each time. If you havnt. I'd say give it a shot when u run out of decent stuff to.watch.

Might.even seen some.aboriginal pee pee in it

Yeah I can remember where I heard it talked about before. They said it's not the most pallet able movie to watch.. I also know your not a fan of torture horror so I understand where you're coming from. I'm not exactly a fan of it either... Saw, Terrifier type stuff I'm fine with... Hostel type torture isn't for me...

I've watched most of the old Godzilla movies but that was a long time ago... Everyone I know that's saw it said it was great. I'll give it a go one of these days... Any free time anymore I'm drafting best ball football teams on Underdog...lol

Ok I just watched some movie called “Men”. Has anyone seen this? If you have could you please explain to me what the fuck I just watched. Holy fuck me. Wow what a weird fucking movie. That’s all I can say really. Hmmmmm

Okay I will try but I haven't watched it personally but I know of the movie your talking about... First it's a A24 production... They produce strange, wild, uncomfortable themed movies while being beautifully shot and directed. The movie is about loneliness, toxic masculinity, grief, anquish, sexism. Rory Kinnear plays several roles in the movie and I heard does a outstanding job at them..

Men Movie: Plot Explained. Men is a giant metaphor for PTSD due to toxic masculinity. Many of the events we see in the film possibly aren't really happening; they only represent the turmoil inside Harper's mind – a combination of her anguish, guilt, relief, joy, and sadness, erupting all at once.

Thanks man. All BS aside that does explain a lot. I still wish you or someone would actually watch it. I still am just like wow. lol 😂

I've meant to watch it... I've seen a few of their productions so I know I'm in for a wild ride...

On Max currently by A24
Midsommar.... Messed up that some here liked and others didn't

The killing of a Sacred Deer... Heard it's good. Colin Ferral, Nicole Kidman and that creepy young actor I can't remember his name

The Lighthouse..... Heard it's fantastic... But beware it's black and white I believe with William Defoe and Robert Pattinson alone on screen for a long time

Ex Machina..... Interesting I've heard

The Witch.... Slow slow burn very artsy movie

Watch this if you want a crazy strange journey lol..... It's on Tubi I believe.... It's something

Dude I did watch this one too! Yeah it’s crazy for sure. This one I kinda expected it to get weird but the first one Inwas like wtf is happening here. Both were wild and unusual rides for sure.

Watch Tusk too. Not as weird as these two and I’m not sure if it’s the same people but definitely has the same fucked up vibe to it.

Hey brother if you ever do find time to watch men please lmk. I swear the same dude played almost or all the male parts in the movie. My wife says I’m stupid but I’d love to hear another persons opinion.

Yeah, pretty much same. Saw movies are a little bit like watching Wile E. Coyote as a serial killer. It's hard to take them too seriously.

I'm envisioning that in my head.... I totally need to see this as a movie now.... All victims survive but Wile E kills himself by accident every time lmao

Watched this the other day... Was okay but they are giving Kong the Optimus Prime treatment... Constantly needs help from either a axe or mechanical arm.... Etc....

Watched this last night... Was excited and wanted to see it in the theater but never came to pass... I was kinda disappointed overall... Slow moving. Kinda boring at times... Thought the one before this was far superior... Although the mini stay Puffs are hilarious and I want some...

Okay I finally got around to watching this .... A little PSA would have been useful about that bald guy who gets arrested would have been a nice solid.... Lol ok where to begin...

First do you have that interesting alter in your house or on the farm lmao.

My take is that it's a manifestation of Harper's abuse and trauma she's experienced through life. She suffered a manic break after her husband committed suicide which triggered the breakdown. The young kid with the mask, the priest "my favorite character" , and other men where symbolism of her trauma throughout her life. I say that based on the end when "Mother Nature Man" gives birth to trauma after trauma ending with her dead husband. Men who's abused her in some way throughout her life. Also my thoughts is she left her husband because she became a lesbian and was having a baby with the lady at the end... Finding comfort in women over the abuse that men did to her .

Overall it's a typical A24 movie. Beautifully shot with wonderful landscape shots, slow and quiet at times to draw in the watcher into the atmosphere. Disturbing and unsettling scenes that give WTF moments.. very artsy.
