Due to the generosity of YMS picking me to give their Retatrutide a try and to keep a journal of the experience along the way, I am starting this log. In addition to tracking how the Reta treats me, I plan to include my daily food intake, daily workout, etc. I haven't really settled on a format yet, so it'll be a work in progress until I decide on what I like (and can keep up with). Some days I will probably do several edits throughout the day of that day's entry, some days it will probably be done all at once later in the evening. I will do my best to have something to add every day, but shit happens...
Background: 54 year old male. 6'1" tall 232.0 lbs. My weight topped out at a documented 310 lbs back in late 2023/early 2024. I'm certain I was even larger before that, but I didn't even own a scale then so it doesn't count, right? LOL I began walking a lot and began dropping lbs. Got into running for a while, eventually completing a half marathon along with several 5K and 10K races. Weight got down to 222 at the lowest in late September 2024 but I was quite "skinny fat" (even though I wasn't skinny per se. No muscle really.) And my knees & hips were taking a hell of a beating. I could tell it every day. I had been really low-calorie and doing lots of running, so although I dropped weight very quickly, it was not a sustainable healthy approach by any means. Got away from running and started lifting regularly later in 2024 and weight went back up into the mid 240's. Had a blood test done at my employer's health fair and found out my test level was 224. So I got on TRT January 15 2025 (100mg test c twice weekly). My eventual goal is to be sub-200 lbs and sub-15% BF
