It’s just a tool, that's how I look at it. I spent plenty of time under the sun and went through some solid training, both in the Marine Corps and later on the civilian side (Gunsite). It’s been a long time since I last snapped in and ran any of that, though
LOL, I think I can live the rest of my days without placing another bang or button hooking another doorway. Thank you for your service Brother.

I had one of those, I waited almost a year for it to be built and shipped from Israel, it’s a piece of shit that jams up, I sold it because I didn’t trust it, I wish it was 100% reliable because it’s a beautiful pistol. The only 1911 style pistol that was 100% was my staccato, I ended up selling that one too because it was too heavy, pretty and expensive to carry and it was a safe queen

I appreciate the feedback.... That's very discouraging for sure... I've a couple times convinced myself to get on that waiting list but always last minute backed out... I fully understand not wanting something that's not 100% reliable... Would always be thinking in the back of my mind that I hope it doesn't jam up... Sucks..

I came to the conclusion that the problems with all these 1911s jamming up is because it was not designed to have a short barrel, the timing of the slide causes failures to feed with short barrels, I’ve had colts, Kimbers, 1911’s 2011s And they all have one thing in common, when the barrel was shorter than 4.25 inches they were very unreliable, it’s a beautiful pistol, but it would never be something I could carry, knowing that it could jam at any moment when needed.

Just for plinking and Pigeons. Only took 2 weeks for the stamp to come in.

I have seen brand new top brand 1911 variations malfunction on the range. Its embarrassing for the owner for sure but its also incredibly dangerous in the real world. There is no f'ing way in hell I would have my life depend on a 1911 type pistol. I don't think there is any LE agency left that issues them or even allows them to be carried on duty.

I agree with you 100% but some le units here in south Florida use staccatos as their issue, davie Florida police is a example, a lot of the law-enforcement are allowed to use staCatto if they want but Davie police actually issues them, which is crazy because the taxpayer has to pay $3000 per pistol. I spoke to a few of them and they say that they score higher in shooting tests by just switching to the staccato. It is super accurate and soft shooting. Even when I owned my staccato, I pinned my grip safety, I think it’s one of the biggest flaws on the 1911, the originals were never supposed to have a grip safety, but the US military insisted on it, and John Browning had to change the design to incorporate a group safety, I shoot with a high grip so when I try to shoot fast the grip safety disengages and causes malfunctions so any 1911 that I get I always pin the grip safety so it’s always engaged no matter what. I’ve seen some very reliable 1911s but they were all full size 5” or 4.25” barrel version , but I’ve also seen a bunch that are shit. It’s just too risky to rely on

Glock 19 and Springfield hellcat are really good.

Yeah I thought I would miss those days but I don’t. I miss the guys and that’s about it.

A parade of dogwhistling, Gear-queer operator LARPers: “I shoot fast, I look cool..flannel, nods, EXFIL dome. Clap please.”

God I hate the guntube culture with a passion.
I've never seen that guy before... I stopped listening after 35 seconds lmao

I am looking at the new RXM series by Ruger. Ruger’s version of the Glock partnered with Magpul grips.

There are several options with color, barrel size, threaded barrel, and round capacity. Interchangeable parts with Gen 3 Glock parts.

Looking to pick this one up next week for my birthday.
