Yeah if you look now at your Tier 1 guys, most of them now are carrying Glock 19’s. At least CAG guys are. They don’t trust the 320.

The revised 320s aren’t bad, the fixed the issues by adding a striker safety and a lighter mass trigger shoe,the military versions have a manual safety too, the newer versions are good to go, I got a black custom m18 and a aluminum framed 365 xl, both are great shooters and safe

I think id still perfer my PPQ to anything on that list. Once you get used to the Walther trigger and ergonomics its hard to go back.

As for handgun, depends on how many legs the offender has. Loved my S&W 357 mag for piggies when stalking in the bush, especially when I was bow hunting. I don't (yet) carry for two-legged critters, except for certain road trips where the 357 is fine in the truck, but I really like shooting the sig p226

I bought this air soft pistol for my dad to shoot hawks that swoop down and grab my cats. It arrives today. Law Enforcement uses these to train with. It is made from identical materials to a Glock 17, I believe. It shoots up to 450 FPS. It’s accurate at 50 yards with a one inch grouping. You get 17 shots per clip. The Co2 air cartridge gives you approximately 90 shots. If you want to get lethal, coat the .177 steel pellets with your favorite local snake venom, rattlesnakes a plenty here, or a little white phosphorus, and set a perp a blaze 🔥 (just kidding, wink wink).

I build a Glock 19 with that same frame and a aftermarket slide, that frame is probably one of the best shooting frames for a Glock as far as ergonomics and grip texture
 
I know they had a bad rep at one time ,but Taurus G series has been great in my eyes, I got the , I believe, first in the G2 , my everyday carry is the G3X . I’ve had nothing but great results with both, tight groups and only time I had misfiring was with that cheap Russian crap.IMG_0662.jpeg

That’s why u need a good red dot, if u are hitting low or off center u just adjust the beam for your shooting style, turns you into a professional, I chew the bullseye out of every target ,1 big hole dead center, red dots are a game changer

I feel your pain, my problem is when I pull the trigger I tighten all my fingers. My whole hand clenches, instead of just the trigger finger.

That crushes the gun down and left. It used to be a lot worse but I'm slowly correcting the issue. Dry fire while balancing a coin or empty brass on the front sight. If it falls, you’re jerking.

If you wanna become a really good shot, just practice dry firing, and hold your sites on a target and practice pulling the trigger without the barrel moving, just set your sites on a target and pull the trigger and try not to make the sites move from the target, people don’t realize how much movement they have when they pull the trigger, if you practice keeping your sites on target and your gun and sights don’t move when pulling the trigger,you will hit your target every time, I taught this trick to my little sister And she shoots so well for someone with such little experience, most of the time when you are hitting low, it’s because you’re anticipating the shot, just practice dry firing without the gun or sights moving when you pull the trigger

I do a lot of dry fire, I have laser ammo targets, seems like I anticipate the shot after 50-100 rounds, I think I tense up just a bit, maybe I need to drink a little jack daniels before

A little alcohol will relax the reflexes for sure, next time you are dry firing,pay attention to site movement and barrel movement when pulling the trigger, if it moves a mm or two when pulling the trigger it will result in inches off your target

I know your joking but when I was in my 20's several of my buddies were world class shooters. We were at a match at Camp Perry in Ohio and they were drinking a couple beers before the match. It wasn't even noon yet.
 
I’m a fan of Springfield armory. I have a 40 xd compact and my wife has the subcompact and we both love how they feel and handle. She has small hands and the subcompact fits her hands perfectly. She initially wanted a Glock, but after trying them out she said the SA felt better.

Thanks man! Yes, I love their ammo. Hands down my absolute favorite. Like you said easier to clean, and they shoot super smooth. Whenever they're on sale, I always pick up a few thousand rounds. The place I get them from online has them for $430 a case. Sometimes I'll grab a different brand when I'm at the range, just so I don't have to crack into my supply. I always notice a difference.

CQB a switch will destroy single fire, doesn't matter, you're getting an entire mag dumped on you in less than a few seconds.

Unless you have sharpshooter aim, a switch will win.

I’m not so sure about that. I’ll put my money on someone who actually knows how to aim and has spent time at the range. Not a guy who closes his eyes and fires sideways, sprayin and prayin.
