Mike van wyck

I hate his training. If he trained like this, probably why he had injuries.

I understand is logic, with his supersets, drop sets, ect.. and keeping the intensity high.. but you can only go so far until the muscle is completely fatigued and the tension goes from being on the muscle, to the tendons and ligaments. When I saw Antione Valliant tore his other bicep, my first thought was because of this.

Also, other coaches and bodybuilders have spoken out about him, without mentioning his name. They basically say he over complicates everything. There's definitely a science to lifting, and a right and wrong way to do things.. but sometimes you just need to show up to the gym and move some weight.

It also highly depends on your goals, your current health, and prob. the most imp. is ur age. Alot of these guys in there 30's and even 40's don't realize that when they're in their 50's-60's they might want to play w/ their grandchildren instead of sitting in a wheelchair because they have basically worn themselves out and can't move. I tell u what bro, I'm 57 and still hit it OK- BUT i know my limitations- there is a point where u do more harm than good imo. Been there, done that- time to chill now- but not STOP! Just my .02 cents. If the dude wants to lift all that heavy shit until his nuts blow out his pants- have at it-I'll watch them carry him out on a stretcher, then I'll walk out under my own power-walk,not run-lol.
