MCT or seed oil

Any instances out there where a certain carrier oil might not agree with someone?

I’ve personally never had issues just a topic of conversation….

I've heard arguments for using different oils to change absorption rates but the esters have a much larger effect. It sounds like you could "fine tune" it a bit with the oils if you really cared enough to, though I don't remember exactly how much of a difference they really make.

Someone muscle tested me for sesame oil and it was a no go, but muscle testing could be all bullshit so who knows without actually having pinned it.

MCT or CSO works fine, also blend of MCT and Castor. Giving GSO a try soon.

I loved sesame.

I love MCT or grapeseed oil. I develop site irritation from cottonseed oil. Fortunately, most suppliers use MCT and a few use GSO.

Do you guys have any preference to which carrier oil is used?

I’ve been brewing with mixture MCT-Migylol 812 and Migylol 840 at 80/20 ratio.

I’m testing Green Tea Seed oil and Migylol 840 at 80/20, it’s looking good, having more guys testing it now.

Testing so far indicates that GTS oil has less reactions and pip compared to MCT. With all oils, how the oils are processed and filtered can make a big difference in the reactions and pip, so you can have poor quality oil in every type oil. Who you buy from and the quality in manufacturing make big difference too.

I cant tell a difference other than drawing & prefer mct but i have hear several guys say that mct causes them more pimples.

  • MCT Oil (Medium-Chain Triglycerides):
    • Very thin and low viscosity, making injections smooth and easy.
    • Low risk of allergic reactions and minimal post-injection pain.
    • Great for frequent or smaller-needle injections.
  • Grapeseed Oil:
    • Light, smooth, and rich in antioxidants.
    • Low allergy profile compared to traditional plant seed oils.
    • Flows easily through a syringe with moderate thickness.
  • Cottonseed Oil & Sesame Oil:
    • Traditional standard options used in commercial and compounded formulations.
    • Highly stable with a long shelf life.
    • Thicker viscosity (may require slight warming before drawing), and sesame carries a higher risk of localized allergic reactions in sensitive people.
Personally I prefer Grapeseed oil. Never had any issues.

Is the green tea what Iron Lion uses?

I was thinking it was some kind of tea oil

Yes the only source I know who uses it. Lion contracts with a legal certified lab to compound his injectables. It has a very good track record, zero complaints for pip, best I’ve seen, so that’s why I’m testing it.

I like them all as long as it’s quality made then they all can pin like a dream but if I put them in order it would be; CSO, GSO, MCT.

With the addition of mig840, do you lower your bb% at all. Just curious bc I’ve read it works as a mild solvent by itself.

I can’t use cottonseed oil. It makes me itch. Like full body itch. Had an Rx for Watson when I was younger. Used it for about a month before I switched to UGL in GSO. Noticed I wasn’t scratching all the time. A month later I switched back to the Watson and boom itching again

Yes you can lower bb when you use 840

Got some Test E finished today in Green Tea seed oil. Gonna hit 1ml in the quad today, if all good I’ll start giving to friends to try, once I get some feedback I’ll decide if I expand the testing.

Black top is Test E 250 in Tea seed oil
Green top is Test C 250 in MCT oil

The only reason I’m testing this oil is because the track record Ironlion has had using it, he’s had zero complaints of pip for years using Tea Seed oil, the best I’ve ever seen. MCT and all other oils have complaints of pip for a certain percentage of users, you see it posted on asf all the time. Lion is the only source I’ve ever known to use it.

For whatever reason my test levels come back higher using GSO or CSO. I’ve tested this many times with many sponsors. I have no hate for MCT just seems like my body likes the others a little more.

If you’re checking a trough, this is likely just because MCT will absorb quicker than GSO or CSO

How large is the difference in test levels?
That one is a little more complicated bc even at same dose you can see some fluctuations in levels. Anywhere from 300 - 800 total test lower. But it’s consistently lower at same dose over the last 2 years of daily injections

Tea seed oil does seem thinner from experience compared to MCT.
