Marvels PSL sponsored log

I have more bloodwork for your viewing today. I’ve been doing a cut to get ready for a beach vacation and I upped my citrus bergamot to see if I could get my lipid panel a little better before my next blast cycle. I’m happy to say everything came back in the good range except for HDL. I do think if I would have focused a little bit more intently on bringing it up I could, but I just wanted to see what it would look like with consistent citrus bergamot use and a leaner physique.

I am also currently speaking with PSL about products for my next blast cycle. I’m currently ironing that out then as soon as I get confirmation, I’ll discuss that. Right now, I’m just looking forward to relaxing and taking a break. I already discussed with my coach that I’m stopping all supplements for a week, I’ll get some cardio and lifting but bodybuilding will be in the backseat for a week. I am planning on counting this as a deload then coming back getting in the groove then adding in the gear for a push into the holidays and pack on some size.

Been a little absent the last few weeks. I had a weeklong vacation followed by mold removal in my house and having to replace a furnace. Needless to say, the last few weeks have been stressful. I’ve still managed to get to the gym at least 3 times, some weeks I don’t get the 4th. Nutrition is where I need to get back to usual. Not that I have been eating like crap, there have been a few more off plan meals. However, the biggest issue has probably been not eating enough. So, I have work to do there. Training wise I’m still progressing, and the weights are going up.

Also, over this time I got a touchdown from the best vendor ever, PSL. Next week I am starting a new blast cycle after 20+ weeks of cruising. Originally there was a mistake, and I didn’t get all of the gear I originally needed for the next cycle. As expected PSL got it fixed rather quickly and now I have a little gear porn below. The cycle plan is to use Test, EQ, DHB & Masteron. The test will be a little heavier than normal and this blast is higher in total dosage than the last. Total mg per week is close to the top of what I have done before but I’m excited to see what happens. Currently sitting at 235 in the leanest condition I’ve ever been at this weight. Ideally, I would like to get to 245 with the same conditioning, then I would start to feel like I might be ready to step on stage again. Most people, myself included, overestimate how much fat they actually have to lose so I’d rather overshoot the top of the heavy weights. Then, if necessary, I do Supers or cut more water to make weight. Being truly peeled is still one thing I am trying to achieve. Each show I get better but having more muscle will help me get there. Excited to show you the next phase in my journey and hopefully have some eye-popping update pics in the weeks to come.

I am currently in the 3rd week of my current blast. It's still very early on but there have been some small changes. The first 2 weeks my nutrition was off, so the weight jumped up from 230 to 236, however I am hoping to have a smaller change or stay around the same this week. Visually things look the same so it's probably just water and glycogen.

I did notice increased strength during the middle of the 2nd week. The way the timing fell was that my first week of the blast was on my 5th week of my training cycle. Week 5 & 6 of the training cycle is my highest volume weeks, that means there are 3 work sets at 100% intensity for every exercise. These are the weeks I judge whether or not I can move up in weight for the next training cycle. Week 5 (week 1 of blast) everything continued as normal with grinding on certain weights with some being at the point, I can increase them. Week 6 of training (week 2 of blast) every exercise was at a point where I can increase weight. This is rare for me because by week 6 I’m pretty beat up and ready for a deload when on trt. That to me was an indicator of things kicking in.

Throughout my history of using gear I have never had large swings of strength when on or off. Which I believe to be good because it would be mentally challenging to lose strength when off on trt. I’ve noticed whatever strength or weights I increase during my blast usually sticks around well on trt. I view it as solidifying my gains when levels are in a normal range.
The last couple months have been rough from life throwing us curveballs, but we have seemingly gotten through those so looking forward to having lots of progress as life hopefully calms down and I can really focus on BB. Huge shout out to PSL, a great vendor. As usual I will get bloods done at some point to show where my test levels are. Currently the plan is 4 days of morning cardio 30 mins each, 4 days of training and gear is 1,000 mg Test (weekly), 400 mg DHB (weekly), 400 mg Masteron (weekly) & 500 mg NPP (weekly). Now we are doing something different with this cycle. I just had some NPP left over so we are starting out using it but once it runs out I will be adding in EQ instead of NPP. Should be interesting to see if there is a noticeable change.

My apologies for the lack of logging the last few weeks. Life has been very busy around the holidays and work. It is an excuse, so I just need to be better about logging.

The last few weeks my weight has been pretty stable in the 233 to 235 range. This has been due to the busyness I referenced, some weeks I do good getting my meals in and some weeks I get busy/stressed and I am unable to get all the calories in. Just today I took my meal plan and condensed it down to remove 1 meal while spreading out the calories. My hope is that I can still get in my consistent 5-6 meals a day and with the meals being a bit larger I can get the calories in to get the weight up. I am the leanest I have ever been at this weight which is a goal by itself. Now though I would like to get up to 245 with this same leanness.

Currently I am using 250 test e x 4, 100 DHB x 4, 100 masteron x 4 & 125 EQ x 4. I mentioned before I only had a small amount of NPP, so once that ran out I switched to EQ. This has been nice because the volume of oil I'm using has gone done. Now I just need 1 syringe per shot instead of 2 injections, 4 times a week. Liking this cycle so far and plan on getting blood work in the next 4-6 weeks which I'll share.

Training has been consistently following the strategy of my coach. Now I have switched out exercises that either plateaued or I felt weren’t hitting the areas I needed. Strength has definitely gone up on cycle. Normally my strength stays pretty linear but this cycle its different. I could speculate its the DHB or it could be a synergistic effect of the whole cycle. Either it's been enjoyable, pumps have been good even painful on some muscle groups and my look during a workout is obvious as well. Honestly I'm surprised to be having these results at 37 while Bodybuilding is still a hobby. I know of I can get a few other things outside the gym optimized I'll get even better.

This last week was not a good one. My daughter came down with the flu which means the whole family experienced it. Monday night I felt the symptoms start, by Tuesday I was on the couch or the bed with a fever or chills. So I missed multiple workouts, eat very little and missed some injections.

I got back in the gym to start my deload week on Sunday. In the mirror I look great, vascular and lean but I'm afraid to step on the scale. I'm sure I lost a decent amount of weight. This is going to be a long blast cycle so I should be able to get back to where I was and add weight but missed time can't be given back. The goal is adherence for the next 4 weeks then do some blood tests. I'll also need to contact PSL because I'll need more DHB. As I've said before I don't know how much to attribute to this product but this cycle seems to be working well for strength and after deload a large majority of my exercises will be going up in load.

Finally over my presickness weight. Hit 237 today which is a new high for this off season. I've been this heavy before but never with abs. Got 2 good consistent weeks of training in and everything is rolling for this next phase in my blast cycle. I'm currently running 1000 mg Test E, 400 mg DHB, Masteron 400 mg & 500 mg total per week.
I was discussing what labs to get with my coach and he didn't say testosterone level. So I asked and he told me not to but it. He told me things are rolling in a positive direction and he has no doubt my gear is legit so the level doesn't matter. If a coach of over 30 yrs calls your source legit then there is no second guessing PSL is good to go.

It’s been a couple weeks since my last check in and I have some updates. I completed some blood work which you can find in the picture attached. Surprisingly being on such a high dosage my estrogen came back in range with no AI in use. My EGFR came back on the low end of the range. After looking at some past results a couple years ago it was low as well. So I now have two more blood tests. I will get one called Cystatin – C which will give a more accurate picture of why EGFR might be low and I’m doing an advanced lipid panel since I haven’t done one of those in a couple years as well. I am still on a blast cycle and will be getting these tests done to see what really is going on in my body when on high gear. These are just to look deeper into results that seemed off. My coach gave me the option to ignore them if I wanted to but advised that it's better to have the full picture and know for sure. I love bodybuilding but I have a family and if I need to change some things, I’d rather know that early when things can be fixed versus learning it too late.
I was also running out of DHB so I reached out to PSL. The first order came from overseas, and something went wrong because this package was never delivered. However, being the great source, they are I let them know about it and they had the order reshipped domestically and I received it in like 3 days. I didn’t even have to miss a shot.

Lastly, things have been moving at an ok pace. I just finished some of my busiest times at work, so I know I was not giving BB my 100% focus during that time. I still need to work on getting all of my meals in, eliminating junk food and sleeping more. In the gym the light switch goes on. I can continually push, and I can see in my logbook progress is being made. I just need to get as good with the out of gym stuff as I am with the in the gym stuff.

Sorry for the long time in between posts things have been hectic in life. Just want to touch on a couple points then do a more detailed post next week. I got all of my blood test back and no issues with my kidneys. As long as I properly hydrate my EGFR is in a great range.

I'm currently in a trt cruise mode as I'm getting everything back to normal for my annual check up and some more bloodwork after a heavy cycle. If everything comes back good I'll bump up the gear to have a higher cruise. Currently I'm on 160 test cyp & 50 masteron per week. After bloodwork I'd like to move it up to 300 test & 100 masteron per week. If everything comes back good i may also plan on competing in 2025.

Not going to give an excuse I've been slacking on logging. Things have been pretty boring which I guess is a good thing. No news is good news right?

I'm on my 9th week of trt, which is 180 mg test weekly. I'm still hovering in the 230's and strength has maintained. Most exercises go up a small amount every 6 week training cycle. I feel that's good that I can keep the poundages the same and add 2.5-5 lbs every 6 weeks when my hormones are essentially normal. Pecs however are the outlier, after my 2nd exercise my pec fatigue causes the last exercise to lose some strength that seems to stay when running higher dosages. I have some blood work coming up, if everything looks good I'll plan on stepping on the gas more and go for a 2nd blast cycle soon. The goal is still to get to 250's with my current leanness in 2024.

Just a quick update. With the holiday and a deload this week the last 2 weeks have been ok. My weight jumped up one I increased the dosage a bit and my stamina on pec exercises also went up slightly. I'm currently running 300 mg test and 100 mg Masteron weekly from PSL. For now this dosage will remain consistent till I can figure out when I might compete next and if I have time for another bulk before prep. The goal right now is to grow on a moderate dosage and use food to add whatever I can. I believe I can do that while also enjoying summer and family time. Bodybuilding is important to me but so is having a life outside the gym.

Right now is definitely not the most exciting part of bodybuilding for anyone following my log. However I feel that now is the crucial time to still make improvements. Almost anyone with a decent work ethic and consistency can make gains while on high dosages. When you come off those amounts what happens to your strength, what happens to the new muscle you put on. I feel if you can keep a majority of your strength gains from a high cycle while being on trt you are setting yourself up for the best platform to explode upward again on the next cycle. I've consistently been able to keep weights the same even while coming down. Now I may not get the same volume while lower I can at least start where I left off. So I'm still grinding on 300 mg test & 100 mg Masteron weekly. My strength is going up much slower but its still trending upwards. I even asked coach if we could move anything up and still consider it trt/cruise. He said no we are pretty much at the limit for that. Currently the plan is to take the next 6-8 weeks to lean out some, try to lose 5-10 lbs of fat only then go into a new high dose cycle. So I'll be reaching out to PSL soon to see about getting supplies from the best gear vendor out there. Results speak for themselves and even at 38 years old this has been one of my best off seasons ever, looking forward to doing more.

Personal life has been hectic recently. Had car troubles of my own and my wife's car as well as some family events. Haven't been the best bodybuilding lifestyle recently but I've been making it work. Currently down 5 lbs over the last 2 weeks of cutting. Haven't done anything drastic, made a better effort to get morning cardio in and cut out some of the snacking and I'm tightening up. Now I need get back track in the kitchen and the next 5 should come off in the next 2-4 weeks then I should be ready for a blast cycle where I try to push the weight higher while still stay lean.

The first workout is from when I was on one of my heaviest cycles earlier this year. The 2nd workout is the same workout now while on trt. You can see that in less than 7 months I have increased load on every exercise. These may not be astounding jumps but if you can handle heavier loads without changing your rep range or execution of those reps there is no way you aren’t gaining muscle. Then when you turn these numbers into volume numbers it stands out more.

Abductor - 450 lbs more total volume
Hamstrings - 1,060 lbs more total volume
Quads - 4,440 lbs more total volume (including added exercise)
Glutes - 450 lbs more total volume

Life has definitely been more about fitting bodybuilding into my life rather than revolving my life around bodybuilding. I know this is why most successful bodybuilders have to make that choice early on to devote everything to the pursuit of a pro card. My life didn’t turn that way because I knew I had other goals outside of gym to achieve as well. Even through all of that I’m still going to take another shot. Right now, the coach and I have figured out a possible plan for a new blast cycle that could last 20-24 weeks as long as blood work isn’t outrageous halfway through. I’ll be reaching out to PSL to see if we can keep the log going a bit longer. I’ve gotten great results with the products and really can’t say enough good things about them.

My current goals right now are to drop another 2-4 lbs before we look to bulk up and add some more muscle. I tighten up the nutrition and get back in a good groove for my morning cardio. This will be difficult with a child in school as she brings home germs quite often but that’s part of life so it will be interesting to see how the rest of 2024 finishes out. Hopefully I bring in the new year geared up and adding weight.

Things have been pretty consistent the last 2 weeks. It’s always difficult to try to stay on schedule with a family and bodybuilding. Last week was a deload so while I don’t look forward to it, it has been beneficial in my continued progress into my later 30’s. This is the first week into the next cycle of training. So, there is only 1 working set and some exercises moved up in weight and some stayed consistent. The plan is to add some more reps to those exercises where the load stayed the same.

Currently I am running 300 mg test cyp & 50 mg masteron weekly. I lowered my masteron dosage as I’m on my last bottle and I’m still in discussions with PSL to keep the log going.

My weight is currently in the low 230s with the goal being to drop another 2 lbs. or so. Cardio is 3-4 times a week for 30 mins in the morning, pretty basic. It's more about getting to sleep on time so I can actually wake up and drag my ass out of bed, get to the gym and back before it's time to wake my daughter up for school. Pretty happy with the current look as I know I could be stricter on my nutrition which would tighten things up even more. I am ready to start bulking though. The last cycle was great, and I can really see the increased size from this year's effort and I’m looking forward to carrying that into next year and finishing 2024 with the scale going up with new mass.

Last night was one of those times where I was proud I made myself go to the gym. My check engine light came on early in the morning so after getting the code read i have a good idea of what most likely will need to be replaced. I think everyone can agree car repairs never happen at a good time but that's life. I had a little voice in my head telling me to stay home and I wasn't feeling very motivated. However I also knew that taking the night off wouldn't help me toward my goals and I'd just spend more time in a negative head space. I got my ass up and got to the gym. I had a good workout and was proud of myself. I'm learning how to control my reactions to things I can't control while also progressing forward after obstacles.

Today’s post is about the importance of body work. Now like most of you I am not a professional bodybuilder. I have bills, groceries and loans to payback and whatever doesn’t go to those essentials I then spend on BB. That means gym fees, supplements and whatever else I need. I try to put away some money every month to save up for massage work whenever possible. The last two sessions I was able to afford were trigger point massages. Both were done by 2 different masseuses with two different styles. The most recent one was less overall force and pressure being applied and way more focused attention.

From my pictures I can see and believe others can see the lack of proportion comparing my left lat to my right lat. Even though there is no reduction in strength from side to side my left lat does not open as much or doesn’t have the same muscle mass as the right. In an effort to activate the right pathways I hope that I can either open the lat more or get better activation during lifting to increase the muscle mass of the left side. The large knots and fibers that were sticking were painful but also felt great to get those loosened or even cleared up for the small ones. I don’t believe this is some overnight solution and that I can just wake up the next day with wider lats but I do view it as beneficial toward my goal of having my best physique. Body work is important whether you compete or just lift for yourselves. I look forward to the day when competition is behind me, and I can just go get a massage for relaxation. I look forward to being able to fall asleep during a massage because it is so relaxing. However, for now I’m fine with dealing with some pain and tender spots in an effort to have a barn door back. For now, I’m back to saving up for the next massage session, whenever I can afford it.

Monday Night Touchdown

I received another touchdown from the best supplier out there, PSL. I just picked up the basics for my next bulk/blast and some trt after. I've been on trt for close to 7 months now without losing any size and most of my lifts progressed upwards. My body should be ready for growth phase as I blast the basics test e, EQ and masteron. We might add in something else but this going to be a long blast as long as my blood markers are horrible, 20 maybe even 24 weeks. LFG!!!
