We didn't have the greatest seats in the world, so we saw it all from a bit of an angle, but it's clear everyone fucking brought it hard and I definitely couldn't call it between nick and Derek, it's unbelievably close.
I wouldn't be surprised if they are only separated by a point or two.

gotta see who can hold it together for finals.

Classic was far more underwhelming, quite a few aren't anywhere near ready and it's really only josema and Terrance in the conversation, everyone else is so far behind them

I'm liking Nick over Derek right now. Definitely between the 2 of them for the win.

Martin doesn't look quite as crisp and sharp. His 1st peak with an added 8-10lbs from the O. Be interested to see what he looks like at finals.

Bonac looks great. Looks like he nailed it.
 
When Derrick 1ST -came out ..Isaid If derrick don't Improve he will lose this Show. but as the show
went on he did improve..it looks close Derrick and Nick.

He was just late, they judged open first a bit earlier then they thought and he was just a bit behind.

Super close between Nick and Derek judging by those pics. I'm leaning slightly nick by just a hair width.
 
Nick looks Great! Derek’s glutes are insane. Back shot is close but nicks hamstrings way better. I’m not good at this just my thoughts

I wasn't there, but watched the HD stream a few times especially the sudden death round. Nick was having a lot of trouble with waist control in the finals and in that sudden death round. Derek edged out the poses (barely) and was just more polished. I have no issues with it. Respect to all of them, especially Nick.

He did in the transitions a bit. But from my seats I had Derek fading slightly and he was shaky and fidgety in the poses, when Nick was like stone.
Idk, I struggle to see which poses they would have given Derek to beat him out.
 
Happy to see Nick walker comeback strong dudes dedication to this sport is unmatched to see where he started and to where he is now is awesome one of the few bodybuilders I feel has put everything into this sport
 
Nick looked alot bigger compared to Derek in my opinion, especially his legs.. Great show!

I'm sure others will disagree, but that's what makes this such an awesome sport.

Rear Lat Spread
Front Lat Spread
Side Triceps (Did not like Nick's pose on this at all)
Surprisingly (Side Chest) - Wasn't expecting this

Nick was roughly 35lbs heavier, but didn't translate in a lot of the poses.

Don't get me wrong, Nick look f'ing awesome and I love his comeback. Just trying to be objective and not take into account the whole backstory. I hate when people use previous shows as a barometer on the one being determined. How Derek or Nick looked last time they were on stage should mean f all. It's today and now.

Any who Congrats on TomJ winning the contest. There will be more in the future.
 
It was an awesome show.

I wanna know how they figured out the tie breaker.

If they just said, Nick won pre judging and Derek won finals, finals is the tie breaker, that's good enough for me.

Dumbass Bob Chik said something about a formula for the least weaknesses, which is something nobody has ever heard of. Chad Nichols even said so, so I figure he would know.

I know you get judged on your weak points but, I've never heard of a "formula".

If you have a competitor come in though, who is CRAZY smooth through the entire chest and delts, who has been knocked in the past for development in those areas and being flat there, it reeks of SEO abuse. I know it's part of the game but, IMO it was glaring.
