Honestly, both QBs were shit but that pick by Allar at the end...jesus, work timing ever.
 
Can Texas pull the biggest upset of the playoffs and beat Ohio state? Don’t listen to me because my playoff bracket sucked! But I think so!! 😂

I won’t say that Texas would’ve won if they did score,but that play call to go wide left was just mind numbing, coaching matters.

Ohio state looked more human vs Texas. They still looked VERY good but the previous two weeks they looked unbeatable. I will be curious how they look vs ND.

It’s going to come down to how good NDs defense plays, they have to keep it close, ND offense just isn’t made for a shootout type of game. They get pressure on the qb, he’ll make mistakes, he didn’t have a good game against Texas. They we’re lucky that someone on Texas made a boneheaded decision down on the goal line.

We watched Penn St's gameplan for ND and it worked well...for the first half.
STOP THE RUN. ND is a running team...with a running QB. When asked to drop back 20 x a game, it doesnt end well for them.

I think OSU's defense is playing out of their mind right now. Their Dline, which hadnt necessarily been a strong point in their games vs Oregon and Michigan, has been lights out in the playoff. JT and Jack Sawyer have been all over the place. ND, who already is beaten up on the oline, will have their hands full. This SHOULD BE an OSU game...but ND has a weird tendancy to just haaang around a litttle too long. If they can take the OSU assault in the first half and can stay somewhat within striking distance, this will be a hell of a game. My call, 28-21 OSU.

That’s a good prediction. I think NDs DC is going to load the box and try to take away the run , He’ll play man to man and leave the DBs on an island. OSU has more talent then ND, so it’s going to be how much the OC and DC can scheme up looks OSU haven’t seen much this season, o ne thing Ive been noticing is that , ND never runs screens , can’t remember the last time I saw them do that, OSU is going to be coming on those third and longs, screens slow that down once burnt a time or two. I believe that Al Golden will come up with some wrinkles and try to confuse the QB. I’m expecting like you said,close like the Penn st. game , then again it could be a total blowout,lol. The Vegas line opened at 9.5 , if I was a betting man I’d take ND plus 9.5.

That scares me though. If they try to play man against OSU WRs, they are in trouble. You simple cannot guard Jeremiah Smith and Egbuka 1 on 1. We watched Oregon and Tenn get fuckin torched my Smith trying to do that. OSU is basically WR U and Smith is a generational talent, even from that elite group. Scary good. Personally, ND is in trouble. Talent-wise, OSU is fucking loaded to the gill and their RB tandem is scary as well. Their weaak point is the QB so ND needs to add pressure to muck up whatever he tries to do. He just needs to get it to the playmakers and get out of the way.

Should be a great game regardless lol

I know what you mean, but to the best of my recollection the only real shootout they had this year was USC, they played zone in that one, but USC didn’t have a D like OSU and ND moved the ball pretty good. Something I didn’t know was, Penn st. Didn’t complete one pass to there WR, Ive never seen that happen before, I guess what I’m saying is the DC has confidence in them enough to try it, if it doesn’t go well, then switch to zone ,but that means we’re getting rolled. If they can stay in man,then they can blitz more and hopefully get the qB into making bad decisions, max pressure.

Pissed of OSU team, with probably the best roster in America, loses to rival....the embarassment gets them so fuckin hyped they destroy everyone else in their path....it isss a good story lol.

Solid game last night. Notre Dame surprised me with the 4th quarter comeback. Was happy it tightened up for a minute.

I’m a ND fan so…OSU just beat us about every way a team gets beat, the talent gap was huge, I think they have 14 5 stars, ND has one and it showed, got out coached also. Hats off to OSU ! Still something about Day that I don’t like,lol.

I’m a big Freeman fan tho and I was very happy he brought u guys to a chip game early. Never liked Kelly much but I think ND is a likeable team now lol u either grew up loving ND or hating them, there is no in between 😂

I like him too, he’ll get better and I think the talent will get better also. We had a lot of injuries and it caught up to us this game.

Pumped is an understatement. I was getting worried though when the closed it to 8. Glad they went m2m against Smith. What I hate currently, is all the NIL talk.
