I am a 51 year old male and have been on testosterone replacement therapy for about 6 months. I am taking 200mg per week (once a week by injection - Testosterone Cypionate). Although my testosterone levels are now in the normal range (746 NG/DL) I am not feeling any different from an energy, strength level, or losing any weight. I also have back acne since starting this.
I would like to lose 50lbs (I am currently 5'9" and weight 220lb). I would like to not have back acne and to have more energy. I don't care to be bulky but would like to have better muscle tone and be much much leaner. I have done a 12 week cycle about 5 years ago at 500mg/week which was very helpful in building muscle.
I am looking for your suggestions on what I could take to supplement my current testosterone replacement including more testosterone but my primary focus is weight loss.
Thanks

Pinning more frequently with a smaller dose should help keep your levels more stable and help with the back acne. losing weight seems tougher as we get older , only way I get results is by taken my diet seriously. I’ve started paying attention to calorie intake and only then was I able to start losing fat

Yeah man-Steroids don't make u lose weight. I'm about ur height and have weighed 220 before-BUT- that was in my 30s and I was working out every day and it was mostly temporary water weight from BLASTING 750-1000 test 100 mgs of d-bol every day and 500 mgs of deca a week. And I was eating like a pig and trying to gain weight. I'm now almost 59 and atm weigh 185-190- BUT- my DIET is why I weight 30-35 lbs less than u. I've also been lifting weights since I was 14 yrs old and have been cycling on and off for 35 yrs. Without boring u to death about my life story- the bottom line is imo u need to work on your diet and get on a work out plan that has a good bit of cardio involved(possibly get a coach or personal trainer). Of course when we get older our metabolism slows down and it's tougher to lose weight- but it's done everyday. There's sections on here about dieting and different work out programs that may interest u. And even though trt hasn't made u feel GREAT- imagine how u would feel if u weren't on it? Don't think adding more test is the answer-YET. But after u get on a good w/o program and a good diet and lose as much as u can "naturally". Maybe consider doing the 500 test again and POSSIBLY something like Anavar or masteron and/or Proviron. BUT- if it were me- I wouldn't even consider it until I lost 25 or 30 lbs( and make sure ur body is in good enough shape through bloodwork). This is all just 1 guys opinion- hopefully some of my friends will offer theirs- and they may be different- that's what's so good about this place bro- we can all agree to disagree and still be friends. Whatever u decide- Good luck and welcome!- HR

Just like everyone else said all the juice in the world is not gonna help loose fat , time away from the table= fat loss , and cardio !!

Like everyone said, just being TRT won't magically help you lose weight. You're still going to need to need to keep a diet, workout, cardio, etc.
