looking for good hot sauces!

this one is goated! im gonna have to pick up like 3 more bottles.
its not gonna last.
If it's the apple cider vinegar that sells you, Heartbreaking Dawn's has a few sauces centered around that ingredient also. A few others in the apple cider vinegar camp: Sauce Leopard - The Sky Rider, Small Axe Peppers - Habanero Mango, Fat Cat - Mexican-Style Habanero, Hot Ones - The Classic Original.

thanks ill check them out. i think it was a combo of the apple cider vinegar and smokiness of the smoked jalapenos. sooo tasty and perfect heat!

I think ive found that naga jolokia is my favorite pepper by far.
despite supposedly being similar or identical to ghost Ive found every sauce with it is much much different.
any one that has that seems to really hit for me.

Naga jolokia and bhut jolokia are regional Indian names for ghost pepper. All the same pepper, just different names.

Melinda's Naga Jolokia and Elijah's Xtreme are two sauces that use that name for ghost pepper in their ingredients which are excellent sauces IMO. Heartbreaking Dawn's 1841 sauce, though not one of my favorites (too much apple cider vinegar), also uses it.

so ive found
melindas naga, and karmas naga, tastes wildly different then melindas ghost.
melindas naga and karmas naga taste super similar. in a blind taste test i would have trouble telling the two apart.

It's possible they're actually using peppers from those two different regions of India, which would give them different flavors due to soil and climate conditions.

Melinda's Naga:
Naga Jolokia pepper mash (water, Naga Jolokia pepper),white vinegar, Habanero pepper mash, carrot, salt, onion, lime juice, garlic, citric acid, xanthan gum.

Melinda's Bhut Jolokia Ghost:
Ghost pepper mash (water, Ghost pepper), white vinegar, Habanero pepper mash, carrot, salt, white onion, lime juice, garlic, citric acid, xanthan gum.

yea they must be, seems like the only difference is the pepper used and they taste super different. not even close.

Not sure if anyone posted this, but the original Sriracha sauce is back!! Been least two years since I’ve been able to pick one up.
