They have really good flavor. I'm not a fan of hot sauce that's just obnoxiously hot, it need to taste good too. Their miso/ghost pepper is fire as well. They are both hot as fuck tho. A little goes a long way.

My favorite brands so far are High Desert and Karma. You don't typically see them on grocery store shelves but Artisan & Craft Hot Sauces | Heat Hot Sauce Shop is a good place to pick them up

Yeah watch out for any sauces with extract, pepper powder, or oleoresin capsicum in the ingredients. Extract sauces in particular often have a metallic taste to them. There's a sizeable portion of the hot sauce market that gets a kick out of seeing how much pain they can tolerate and they're not really focused on the flavor.

I've been mixing those ones with other sauces to avoid just throwing them away. Dave's Insanity was one of those. It's not a bad idea to have one of those sauces around anyway though, for guests who come over and want to claim that they're the king of spice tolerance.

alright tried this yesterday. It actually tastes decent, but it is just too hot to enjoy, HOWEVER.
it was wicked cold in my garage today and one little drop of this really warmed me up haha.
has a use! this shit numbs your mouth crazy and even changed my voice a bit its wicked hot.
But if youre cold! this will warm you up INSTANTLY. Got a good sweat for my cardio this morning this way.
its good like @naps_for_gains mentioned gonna have to mix it in to less spicy sauces to bring up the heat to enjoy this one.





Tried this one too and this one is solid. Hot but flavorful.
if you put too much you will get that burn that never stops but you can put enough on chicken or ground beef to actually taste it and enjoy it.

stick to off the shelf.
valentina black top/black label is a great daily
for eggs and tacos. nice kick, FLAVORFUL.

taco bell diablo is pretty good as well, but pretty hot.
tabasco scorpion is VERY hot but tastes good, only comes out in drops so you can assess tolerance.

cholula extra hot really good, similar to valentina.
franks XXXTRA hot is also VERY good and similar as well.

i personally like mixing franks xxxtra with mustard and its really good. for like a spicy mustard sauce with good flavor and mild heat.

taco bell diablo and scorpion very hot.

the rest very mild with valentina being slightly hotter.
if you find black top too hot you can get the red top that is more mild. black top is perfect imo. like mild+ heat.

If it ain’t Louisiana or creole style it’s rubbish. That’s flavor and heat. Anything from Slap ya Mama is delicious. Just had some of their green jalapeño sauce for dinner. Their Cajun seasoning is the best on the planet.

@dcdogz Not sure if you like spicy seasonings as well for flavor, but check out Flat Iron Pepper Company. Wife bought me a kit one year for father's day and I fell in love with their products! The "I Can't Feel My Face" brings the heat EVERY bite. All of their blends have been stellar and I highly recommend them to anyone into spicy shit.
