That's exactly what it was. Although I'd argue that most NPC judges would've gave him the nod. These were ifbb judges and a national level and ifbb judge and apostle the value conditioning a bit more. I had a guy who's been in this a long time tell me this ahead of time and I be damned if he wasn't right cause that guy in red it's not like he was soft my any means. Just no quite as hard as me. He was pissed for a while too cause in the novice lineup he stole the middle from me and stayed there the whole time so just assumed he won but I did find it odd that I was closer to middle and just edged him out in open LHW. Me and him switched spots a couple times in LHW. He did eventually tell me congrats etc. I guess id been mad and confused too if I had the middle then called 2nd place at awards. Bro, I literally jumped around like a child when I won the overall.

Well, back to business today. Went and did some legs. Got a good workout but didn't really push it either. Not as hard as I couldve. The next week or 2 I'm just gonna walk my way thru the potential new split. Thinking about giving DC another try but really doing it right this time with ALL THE STRETCHES, and negatives on last set. Found a DC PPL split I like. I seemed to be doing well with what I was doing though and really hate to fix what isn't broke. Since I'm taking a year off, I also considered actually periodizing my training this year. Recovery phase, Strength phase, bulk phase, cut phase. We'll see. I gotta couple weeks to play around.
I did get under a squat bar today and that felt pretty nice. Went ok too considering how long it's been. 315x6. Anyways,

Had a pretty good session. Pushed a lot of blood. I honestly could've gone a bit harder but it's been a long 6 mos so the plan is to just run thru all 9 workouts just to get a feel for em and then go in on em. Also help me decide if I want to change to this split or go back to the same one and just incorporate the rest pauses, drops, partials, etc to that. That said, I did get a nice pump tho. Got my stage pix today. Wish I had paid to get the crossover pix now but damn, gilco is expensive. I'm gonna see if he recorded my classic stuff too.

Forgot to post up yesterday. Had a pretty good one. I'm telling you know, Jim gonna get my BB row up if it fuckin kills me. I was once a strong ass rower till I dropped them a while.

BB row 2 sets one heavy and just nice weight, 2nd one lighter, slower, and focus on squeeze.
