LONG time lurker of all the major forums (10+yrs) I’ve just had my screennames come and go over the years with new phones etc.

I’m a HIIT guy and mid distance Ultra trail runner. I also work a very physical job outside year round.

This Mast E (Hammer and Bell is fire!) is giving me trouble staying hydrated. The hydration packets are ridiculously overpriced now.

Yall boys got any recipes to mimic the packets but in a half gallon jug? Thanks

Venture Pal on Amazon is less than half the price of LMNT and from what I can tell exactly the same quality.

I found Liquid IV for 75% off at Vitaminshoppe and bought 4 boxes.

I recommend checking out Vitamin shoppe to see if they still got some

If you're trying to stay hydrated without relying on expensive hydration packets, you can make your own blend for a half-gallon jug. A good starting point is to mix about 1/4 cup of electrolyte powder (or sports drink powder), a pinch of salt, 2 tablespoons of honey or maple syrup for natural sweetness, and the juice of 1-2 lemons or limes for some flavor and added vitamin C. Fill the rest of the jug with water, mix well, and you'll have an effective, budget-friendly hydration solution for your workouts and outdoor activities. Adjust the quantities depending on your taste and hydration needs.

Try the Relyte. They have a ton of good flavors to pick from the ingredients in Relyte are way better than the Liquid IV. Just be aware the Relyte has caffeine in it.

Only the "energy" type does.

Relyte "hydration" doesn't

Liquid IV subscription is $18.19 or Costco sells bulk.

I like this. I’ve been using Himalayan pink salt for a while in my water bottle. I’m in the camp where more expensive isn’t necessarily the best.
I prefer regular table salt because of the iodine, but for whatever reason i feel like the pink stuff tastes better.

I do a scoop of gatorade powder, a couple dashes of morton salt, a couple dashes of no-salt for the potassium, and 5g of creatine go into my morning gallon, which i drink at work throughout the day and usually finish just before training

Pink salt does taste better and it’s got some trace minerals but we use iodized salt on the table, I cook with kosher salt. We have a lot of salt choices in our cupboard lol.

I make a similar hydration mix. I use a sugar free powdered drink mix and add some salt to it. I gave up creatine a while ago.

Poverty is the mother of ingenuity 😉

LMNT is actually a great company. I'd encourage you to discuss a special deal or discount for you to try it. It would not surprise me at all if they made a special deal with you.

These people are actually fantastic working with I can't say enough good things about their company.

There are ways to blackhat dupe them out of product but it's not that hard to figure out.

Make your own sir. Get the basic minerals and add PINK HIMALAYAN salt, not regular salt.

Blend it in a coffee grinder to get it super fine.

If you look at almost all formulas, that is the primary electrolyte ingredient in it.

If you are a cardio long time guy please check out my Warp Speed product. This will do wonders for you sir, not a sales pitch.
