Knees are getting old and janky. Ive been using wraps for the heavier work, but looking for something a little less labor intensive that I can wear through most of a leg day. I've tried sleeves in the past and just didn't feel it they were doing much. Figured you guys would have some solid recommendations. l

Have you looked into your lifting form and leg day lay out?
I used to use sleeves when my knees hurt. Since have fixed my training, changed the order around and how I perform lifts. Now doing the same weight with zero knee pain and no wraps or sleeves.

I appreciate the input man...my knees are an issue 24/7...so its not really a matter of trying to get to a zero pain state...just looking for something to help make things tolerable without wrapping, unwrapping and re-wrapping every set. I'll grab a pair of Gym Reapers and see how it goes. Thanks guys!!

7mm sleeves offer alot of support, almost as much as wraps, almost. Sounds like that’s what might work best for you, 5mm might not offer enough support

I don't have bad knees, but I started wearing 7mm sleeves about 15 years ago when I started power lifting and I just can't go back to lifting without them. Keeps my knees warm, provides a ton of support and just keeps it all tight and feels good.

Every once and a while I'll travel and forget to bring them and it's just awkward and uncomfortable. They are a great tool

Putting pressure on the front or the knee cap over time while moving/lifting would seem to cause more wear on the back side as the knee cap is forced back and can't float to where it naturally wants to go. I have generally avoided things that don't allow free movement. My knees have issues now but don't feel worse then they did decades ago when i used wraps and sleeves.

I've worn 5 mm knee sleeves since the mid 80s. I would feel naked without them. They supply both support and warmth. Im currently wearing sleeves I bought over 25 years ago. They cost me about $4 each. My elbow sleeves are also 5 mm neoprene and I've had them over 25 years as well. I remember buying them at a local drug mart.
