Key pad door locks

Anybody got any recommendations on a good keyboard door lock? I bout 2 kwiksets a couple months ago and there absolute trash. They unlock when they want to and they lock u out more then let you in. Looking for something reliable that will actually work when it’s supposed to.

Yale is the best I have found so far. 4 years changed the batteries out twice.

Kwikset isn’t a very good lock overall. My brother in law is a lock smith and he usually recommends Schlage anytime I ask him.

+1 on the Schlage recommendations. Have two on my house (had them 5+ years now) and they've been great, zero issues.

I have several of the Schlage's. They have a lifetime warranty. Even when the sun makes the numbers crack, they'll warranty them.

Schlage… ours was here when I bought the house 6 yrs ago. It wasn’t even new then. Zero issues. Easy to program

The Schlage ones that connect to the app are nice. You can unload and add/remove codes remote

I had this for about 10 years no problems. I was worried about having too many keys floating around since my kids seem to misplace things. did have a crackhead try to get in once, he was pushing buttons and it woke me up, I looked out my window and fucker was on my patio staring in my window, he didnt see me and I was a few inches from him, I put on my patio lights and he looked up and said I see you fucker, I said great get off my patio. I got some video of him pissing on my neighbors car and wandering around. Few hours later police were outside so I went out and talked to them and cops said some guy got stabbed, I told them about the guy trying to get in my house and showed them the video, it was the same guy, the had me send them the videos. dude got stabbed in the liver looked real unhappy. looked liked some type of south of the border folk

Yale and Schlage are the 2 best ones for regular key and keypad locks for exterior doors. My brother has Schlage locks for his shop and house doors and these are quite reliable.

Yale and Schlage suck. They use to be alright until Lowe’s started selling them. Cheap beat quality.

I have been using them since they first came out.
I had the one pictured above (Kwikset). Good lock but buttons wear, showing possible combinations.
I had one of the first biometric ones where you swipe finger. Sucked.
Our apartment in Mexico has a Schage one with a screen. You touch it, it lights up with random numbers, you press them and then entire keypad lights up and you then put in your code. This is to prevent wear marks like I mentioned previously, but don’t expect to get inside fast. You can hook to hub if you want for remote opening.

The one I have in Washington is biometric, just touch finger. You can program a shitload of people, give access permissions for day and times. I can open remotely as it came with a hub. It also informs me when it is opened.
I hate to admit it but it is the best I have owned. It is a Sifely I got on Amazon days for $90.
