Just started TRT.

I recently got prescribed 100mg of testosterone cypionate from my PCP. I split the dose 50mg monday 50mg thursday. My levels were 277ng/dl after an agressive cut. And around 431ng/dl after my last bulk about 6-8 months ago. I knew the cut would drop my levels, but i wanted that so i could get a script for TRT.

My question is, with proper training and diet, is 100mg really enough to make a difference? My thought process is this essentially; get my levels checked again at 6-8 week mark. And run this 100mg till the vial is out. If levels are good, and no concerns. I personally would like to up the dose to 200mg. My PCP would pull me if i went over 1050ng/dl, so upping the dose with him is a no go. If i want to increase i would go through UGL. But maintain bloodwork regularly.

But should i see some decent results with 100mg? It feels quite low compared to most TRT users for building muscle specifically.

Pardon my ignorance when it comes to this, this is my first time running any kind of compound. And would like some advice from the pros!
 
If you truly have diet, training and recovery dialed in, you can make gains regardless. However,

What are your levels on 100mg/week? Everyone is different when it comes to dosages and how it effects their blood levels. Don't assume 100mg isn't enough until you have the data. If it's subpar, you raise slightly and reassess.

Just took my second injection so it will be a while before i get bloods done again. But thank you! Thats great advice! Ill see how it effects me first and see my levels before making any adjustments!
 
If you haven't hit your genetic peak yet then 100mg should still allow gains as that should be in the range od what most younger guys have as far a t levels. Diet and training will have to be in check to make decent gains though.
 
My total test before trt was around 400. 125 mg puts me around 800 total test. I was prescribed the typical 200mg/week from a clinic and that puts me around 1500 total test. I generally feel better with a more conservative dose but I "blast" 200mg for a couple of months at time because I definitely notice difference in the gym but I get water retention and some other sides even after 4 years on TRT. But everyone is different. Start low and get bloodwork and adjust
