The year was 1990.
I was heading into 7th grade. Every cool kid had the Fire Red Jordan 5s. I had spent the entire year saving every dollar I could so I could finally buy my dream shoes.

I walked into Foot Locker… and they were SOLD OUT.

That was my origin story.

I carried that emotional damage for the next 20+ years. My therapist says I’m making progress. My wife says I’m just buying shoes now to heal my inner 12 year old.

Well… the kid finally got his Jordans.

Question: What was the one thing from your childhood that you always wanted but never got?

When I was 14 I traded my friend a blown up snowmobile my dad had sitting around for a blown up blaster. Took me months to tear it down and rebuild it. Best trade I've ever made.

These days I've upgraded and finally got the BMW S1000RR I've always wanted. Definitely one of the most surreal experiences the first time I hopped on MY new bike.

I always wanted a 12” pecker but I never got one. Wasn’t for lack of trying though. I’ve tried every pill, every exercise and every device there is. Shit recently I even tried manifesting one. Nope no luck. Still waiting………..and waiting……

Now Im hoping for some Peptide to hit the market that makes your Willie grow. Of course now that I’m older and more mature I wouldn’t use it. Yeah right. I’d be overdosing on that shit immediately. lol

Just once before I die and loose my physique I want to stroll down a nude beach sporting a 12” er.

This is my favorite looking pair they ever made... 6s made in 91 his first time.... Could get retro 6s nowadays... I've owned a few pairs of Jordans over the years... They were fine but I'm not a sneaker guy... If I was I would own every pair of Reebok Iverson's I could ... I owned the question and answer 2s back in the day

When I lived out west I use to know this dude that had an internet biz where he did nothing but buy and resell popular shoes. Worked maybe an hour a day on his computer.

I use to bust the dudes balls all the time and tell him to get a real job. Looking back now I realize he was driving a Porsche 911 and had a $3500 a month apartment while at the time I think I had an 89’ Mustang and we were living in little Mexico right outside of LA. lol
