Spreading shifting swelling after an injection with numbness can indicate a serious reaction such as deep tissue inflammation fluid accumulation or an early infection even if there is no pain redness or fever. Because it is spreading from the chest to the abdomen and across sides you should go to a doctor or ER as soon as possible for examination and likely imaging ultrasound CT and blood tests.
