HGH and retatrutide during massing phase??

Curious to hear anybody’s input on utilizing low-high dose retatrutide while running higher amounts of HGH i.e. 8+iu’s to help with glucose as opposed to using insulin?
Thoughts? Ideas? Personal testimonies??

Not a fan honestly.

I think for beyond appetite suppression, we have other tools for all the other claimed “benefits” of GLP1s (which I’d argue are mostly seen from the weight loss). Just my opinion. And fwiw I’m on 10iu gh, 0 reta, and my BG was 84 this morning 🤷‍♂️
 
I’m currently using Reta in a growth phase didn’t get much from it in a BG perspective some but not what I think you’d be looking for

Do you take anything for BG? I’m currently on 6iu but my BG was at 109. I want to run higher but I don’t think I’ll be able to without something to take care of BG. I’m currently taking slin pills with berberine but that’s it

What works for me

  • I stay sub 10% year round
  • I do 30-60mins fasted cardio year round and make sure I’m really pushing myself (elliptical, arc trainer, or stairs work well for me)
  • I eat only trace fats (however I do supplement 10g high epa fish oil a day), as insulin resistance is seen in literature mostly when adding unhealthy/excess dietary fats on top of carbs. I just push carbs very high, with high days over 1300g carbs and only need to utilize novorapid around training because I have a very large amount of food in that periworkout window.
  • HIIT 2x a week (I like assault bike)
  • I train high volume and utilize lots of metabolic style work (fst7, rest pause, high rep sets etc)
  • 10 minute walks after meals (helps with post prandials as well as digestion)
  • I utilize MotsC, SLU, and Cardarine

I’m sure some of the supplements I take like high dose taurine (10g a day), ALA, ACV etc contribute to a small degree but not as much as the above I listed.

I tried to think of all the things in my protocol that may contribute. May be missing some, but I think I definitely at least got the big hitters.
