Im not sure if this is the right location on here to ask this. Sorry if not.
Ive been on test for a couple years now and decided to add some NPP for a little extra muscle. I ran NPP for about 20 weeks last year with great results and zero issues.
I decided to start a cut in Oct of this year and was running 300 Mg of Drostanolone Enanthate to dry out a bit. My last pin was on around Dec1st. Im still running about 200 Mg of Test.
My question, is it possible to have withdrawal from stopping the Masteron? A week after stopping I started feeling strange. I was experience terrible sleep and increased anxiety. Hot and cold, joint pain with a headache. Im still feeling many of these symptoms and never had any of this from stopping the NPP.

Not a common or known issue, no.

Thanks for the reply. I found info online but wanted someone who actually used these compounds to comment. So thanks again.

A person going through steroid withdrawal may feel some or all of the following symptoms to varying levels of severity:[1],[2],[3]

  • Fatigue
  • Restlessness
  • Reduced appetite
  • Insomnia
  • Reduced sex drive
  • Weight loss because of reduced appetite
  • Decreased strength
  • Depression
  • Steroid cravings
  • Headache
  • Muscle and joint pain

I mean your messing with your endocrine system. Every symptom is kind of in play. What was the bloodwork like on cycle? What is it like now?
Bloods came back good. LDL was a tick high, but everything else was in range. I assumed since im still pinning my TRT I wouldn't notice. Maybe i'm just sensitive to Masteron? I will just avoid that compound in the future.

My rule of thumb is I expect to feel something different for at least about 3 weeks after any big changes. Could be good different could be bad different. And this is dependant on compound half life as well. Mast E is a pretty short half life so there is in my experience a higher chance of feeling something. But I typically give myself three weeks to settle in as long as it isn't too bad. If I'm still not where I want to be after 3 I'll either reverse the change, usually only when I'm adding or increasing something. Or I'll go for blood work. Sometimes it's just the transition that gets us and we are fine on either side of it. I find my body can usually make it's adjustments if it's going to in that three week period. Bottom line though is you are pulling at the levers of a very complex machine. A machine that will make attempts to fix itself. Weird stuff can and does happen in the transitions. And we respond differently to different things. If the bloodwork is good. My approach would be to not change anything chemically. Focus of good nutrition and sleep. And if things get worse see the doc. If they don't start to improve by the 1st see the doc. Could also just have the flu. All those symptoms fit with that also and it's that time of year.

Could be estrogen related.

Have you pulled bloodwork?

Mast is an extremely versatile and rather mild steroid. I would not give up on such a great compound so quickly. Maybe consider tapering off it the next time you use it.

I’ve never had those sides coming off Mast but everyone’s different so I don’t doubt your experience.

So are you stopping NPP or Masteron?

Any steroid can result in hormonal and brain chemical imbalances.

Some people are more sensitive then others. You might be one of them.

What are you using for PCT?

Absolutely could b from gear, u r fucking with your hormones.
This is why some guys taper off.

Apparently I’m in the minority here but I personally don’t think dropping Mast is directly causing any of the issues described.

I mean there’s a thousand other things that could be coming into play and in all honesty OP might be causing some of those issues himself by overthinking it. Anxiety, sleep issues, headache all can be caused by your own head. Anxiety can cause hot cold sweats. The joint pain could be caused be the slight drop in strength if he’s pushing the same weight. The list goes on. Yes DROPPING the Mast lead to the symptoms but it wasn’t the Mast that actually caused them.

Just my humble opinion though. Still if I was a betting man I’d definitely not put anything on the Mast being the culprit.

I think he has a seasonal bug. The flu and others have fundamentally the same symptoms he described. My joints always hurt ahead of me being sick and sticks around after I otherwise feel better.

That’s what I mean. It could be a ton of other shit causing the symptoms he mentioned and dropping 300mgs of Mast is way down on the list imo. Personally I’d be exploring other options.

Nah I’m with you brotha 🤷‍♂️

Thanks for all the input fellas. Feeling much better. I know you don't believe it was the Mast, but I really think it was. Seems it has cleared my system and all is good now. I will just taper if I decide to use again. I went from 300 MG a week to nothing and a week later I felt like shit. Im going to take a break for about six-eight weeks and then get bloods again. I have another order of NPP on the way to start the New year. Have a Merry Christmas all!

For myself sometimes I can get inside my head too much. I can perceive a very mild side effect or symptom, but if I think about it too much then the anxiety kicks in and you have a bunch of downstream effects from anxiety like poor sleep, general discomfort, all the things you described, and then you attribute that to the medical condition instead of your over active brain. Not saying it was the case with you but at least being aware of this can be helpful
