Everytime I've dropped below 400mg test/wk I start getting depressed and can't do the things I need to do on a daily basis. I've used practically every compound Test/mast/tren/superdrol was pretty much all I would run year round for years. I don't have gyno like i've seen most long term users get. Over the years when I was younger I could blast test 2000mg+/wk along with tren at 600 and mast at 800 along with eq at 800 with very little mental side effects. Now that I'm older my body can't handle the effects of what used to be my favorite androgens. Not only that. I'm switching careers to where I don't need to be physically able to do the work of multiple people anymore.

I don't want to be test for the rest of my life but I'd rather off myself than have low t for the rest of my life. I'm willing to come off for a short period and blast hcg/hmg and clomid to rapidly restore my fertility but I'd like to know there is a long term way to get off and have test levels back around 700ng-1100ng with plenty of free testosterone in my body. The average male produces around 400ng-1100ng. I love how I feel, I love the additional drive to pursue my goals, I love the way women react to me differently but I want to have children. a family. I can't be on this shit forever even though the benefits in every other aspect except for having kids is amazing. Steroids are the best and worst thing that ever happened to me.

Any advice or experience from long term users who had kids and were able to successfully able to come off permanently?

I really think all the gear I used wasn't just to build my body but to give me the ability to be completely self reliant from other people to pursue my goals. I know now it's called counter dependence but it's lonely being superman. I don't care for girls or getting "laid" as much as I did 18-22. It's not fun like it used to be and it feels gross as fuck now.

It's all what is more important to you...having children or staying on gear. Only you know the answer to that.

I will say plenty of guys will come off for 6 months to a year or so doing a protocol of hcg, etc. May take longer in some cases to get their sperm count back. Then they go back on or stay on TRT. Doesn't have to be all or nothing post pregnancy.

I got off some yrs ago, sperm was dead on TRT and since we wanted another kid I had to get off. I used HCG for 4 weeks (500iu’s a week) and Clomid (25mg ed) for 8 weeks, made baby shortly after that.

I kept training the same way so I didn’t lose too much but I lost the “tightness”. My wife and I was done having kids after that so I got back on a few years later.

Your quality of life will probably suck off versus on. Just saying, I went off for over 5 years, and it was pretty miserable.

I came off to have my daughter , tried when on. Got tested and sperm count was stupid low , after about 6 months, 20 pounds lost and horrible back acne. Ol lady was pregnant ! Now my princess is 3 years old and I’m back to business . Seemed HORRIBLE then but looking back it was a small price to pay. Kids are wonderful , but not all parents are

Yeah that's probably what I'm thinking too. Quality of life is drastically improved on steroids. I can't even explain how gear has improved my life so dramatically. There is no way I would have had all the experiences I had or had the confidence/belief in myself after years of training to start a business. I think I'll just have to come off when I've met my wife for a period of time to have kids. Until then. Being on testosterone has been the best thing that has ever happened to me. I could have a huge conversation about the increased quality of life. There should be an entire thread dedicated to how steroids made my quality of life worse/made my quality of life better.

I grew up mostly within the gh15 forums but I don't see them around anymore. Years of abuse I did to my body because of the gh15 bible only to look like an average guy now.

Got off after 10yrs+. Have to treat it likes it’s the only option. Can’t still dabble. Dr will have you sticking yourself multiple times a weeks for months if not years. And the fertility meds are expensive

good friend was a long time gear user, came off entirely after a bunch of fertility clinic failures, IVF was the next shot, so he came off, she was pregnant 2 months later. He got back on, then decided to get off entirely. I think the jury is out on his true happiness, but I'm on the outside looking in, and he's talking about another kid. He's as old as me and I can't fathom a new baby at 52, so I guess what I'm saying is as long as your healthy on, you'll have options when the time comes for kids. You could be chunking down a shitload of anti depressants or booze chasing happiness, that in my opinion is not a better option.

I had 2 on blast lol.. I want one more! Do you though, I’m and anomaly

if you want kids just do it then you can hop back on the gear its only temporary and there's fertility protocols to bring back your fertility pretty fast..

having kids is pretty priceless if you want one,,, they are the ones who will carry on your families name and bloodline when we all gone

Stop the gear, the trt, take the fertility meds, have a little one, then hop back on. Doesn't have to be an all or nothing equation.

Granted, I had my wonderful little girl before I got on trt and having fun with blasting, but she's nearly 10 now and all the the kids and her friends at school love me because I am easy going and friendly and funny and being jacked I look different than all the other dads. Dad bod is real........
They really get a kick out of muscle guy so do your future little one a favor and make sure to stay strong ;)

To have kids HCG. To stop useing gear and not have test levels low do legit TRT. 100mg -150mg a week.

If you change your mind bump it up to 200mg and you be on the high side.

Try 150mg a week of Cyp. It should put you depending on the blood work day your bound rate 500-900 will be in normal range.

Just to replace normal levels.

HCG Turned the system on. I use HCG when my balls slowly shrink. 1 every 2 years average.

I hate HCG makes my balls hurt from the swelling.

Rather or not you can come off, stay off and have a good Test level is a total crap shoot sir. It all depends on the damage done to your HPTA and the cells in your balls (leydig cells). I think that if you are going to do it then you should do it sooner than later. After you hit 30 it will become harder and harder to come off and restore your levels. I think you should know that it may be a long, difficult and unpleasant road to travel. Then again you might bounce back quick. No way to know sadly.

You`ve got the right idea with hcg/hmg. There are a lot of guys on this forum that had kids while on trt and even on gear. I`ve seen some guys say they conceived a kid while using tren.

Vigorous steve on youtube and social media did a fertility thing not long ago. I don`t agree with everything he says but his fertility protocol sounds solid and I`m sure you could gain a lot of knowledge about it.

On to other things. Why do you feel depressed when you drop your testosterone below 400mg. I think I may have an answer to this. What kind of estrogen converter are you? Do you need an AI on this 400mg? I`m wondering if you aren`t producing enough estrogen when you drop below 400mg but this would depend on you being a low converter like I am. I`ve had the problem that if I run 200mg I didn`t produce enough estrogen and was super depressed and lots of anxiety. Proven with lab work.

Any gyno ? I ask cause your the first member I have heard that has low estrogen chronic from what it sounds.

Not someone who took a AI overshot the range and crashed the estrogen levels. That’s much more common.

But yours sounds gentic.

Which sucks also joint pain and phycological impact.

But any gyno ? Although you could still get it through high prolactin drugs like Anadrol.

Was it painful giving birth ?
I have always worried about getting knocked up.

Fletch I’m sorry I couldn’t fucken resist.

You know I have mad respect for you.

Thats great though god bless. I don’t have kids but it’s nice to see people with previous painful and stressful life styles go down a better road and have a family your a blessed guy.

The thing with Vigorous Steve is his wife is like 40. His problem with conceiving is probably more of an issue with her being older than it is him being infertile. If your wife is 25 chances are it is going to be much easier.

I been using steroids over 30 years. 15 years on pretty high dosages I have no health problems from them except Gyno and Hypogonadism. 2016 I decided to take a break. My ball produce a natural level 117 bound and free was I think 15 or 20.

I gave you details so you know mine was caused by strength and time.

I did use HCG back then about the same as I use it now every 2 years keep my nuts to prove I have them.

I don’t think I had big ones before I touched gear. Like jumping into a very cold pool and having my beautiful girl friend who’s 23 I’m 47 very proud of it besides the negative stares from older woman.

But your useage, length and genetics it will vary.

I hope it works out the way you want but if it don’t TRT in real TRT dosages you can still obtain normal levels and give up reading blood tests and finding new things or old things to manage by more drugs.

But it’s great to make choices for your self and you choose how much risk and what risk you’re willing to take.

But if you have Hypogonadism it’s not the end of the world.

Crashing a bike in the tripple digits when your a insane 23 year old and being in ICU for a week then 5 back surgery’s and pain management but blessed to have the pain managed much more painful experence.

Yup, ideally woman from a health perspective are safer to have them in the 20s-30s and then it goes to what your statement say cause woman are approaching that shit where they loose bleeding every month and so pleasant to be around.

Menopause it’s probably spelled wrong I just don’t give a fuck about it any more. My profession spelling and grammar mean nothing.

It’s how you need to deal with people that’s much more important.
