I tried to register through CashApp to use Bitcoin, I’ve been waiting almost 3 weeks for them to authenticate my account, I can’t get any follow up from anyone there, they allowed me to buy Bitcoin but I can’t send Bitcoin until they authenticate my account, still waiting ………

I use Atomic Wallet. It's fast and easier and allows u to buy, and receive w ease. Think it takes a few hrs to verify u the first time u use it.

Just wanted to follow up on this as I've been in the crypto scene since 2014 and there are a lot of easier ways out there as discussed all ready. PayPal also is starting to allow customers to purchase BTC, Litecoin and a few other crypto currencies. Just another avenue for anyone interested with having to use crypto exchanges and go thru all the KYC (Know Your Customers) ID and personal info they require.
Edited to add that while you can use Cashapp and PayPal, they hold the keys to your crypto. So if this is a route that you might take, I would suggest only buying what you need to cover the costs of your purchase and not leaving substantial amounts on their platform. Please look into getting a hardware wallet or bare minimum, a hot wallet, so you have full control of your crypto at all times.
