There’s a bunch of rules. Yes, you pronounce each vowel but in a weird way.
“Booo-er Boo-well” is how it sounds to me. Direct translation is “Farmer dog”.
The animal “Boomslang” Americans say “boom-slang” hard “a””.
It is pronounced “Boo-oowem-slong” which directly translate to “tree snake”.
A couple other cool ones are “Kameelperd” which sounds like “cameel-pard” to my gringo ears. Directly translates to “camel horse”. This is a giraffe.
Guess this one: “Seekoeie” which I won’t even try to write as pronounced. It directly translates to “sea cow”.
What animal is it?

When in SA, they love taking the piss out of me by having me read menus and shit. I had to start pronouncing English words their way so as not to have to repeat myself.
Rob became “Rrrroob” and I ordered pancakes once “Flep jeks please”. Oh, of course, flepjeks. I forgot to run words together…like hoddoggs.

Long chat yesterday with a friend who has an unintentional litter. Looks like we are finally pulling the trigger on our next (first one to start) dog after a few years mourning our other’s passings.
Rat terrier/JR cross. Should be fun. Getting a pup from a dear friend makes it feel even better. They are only five weeks old so it gives us a chance to get home and set up before he emigrates.

I still dream of my childhood dogs that were sisters. I dreamt of them last night even. It’s a reoccurring dream where while I’m outside wirh them I come to realize they shouldn’t be alive anymore at this age. So since this cannot he them, they’re fake and I can’t explain what I think bc it’s a dream, but the fact they’re fake and I didn’t realize it sooner and have been manipulated makes me upset every time. They were my first experience with death, so that’s the only explanation I can come up with all these yrs (and deaths) later.

Cool little dogs. Absolute balls of fire. Endless energy. In my 30's I had a Rat Terrier. Tried to chew the legs off every piece of furniture in the house. 😂 Loving dogs. I don't know if you've ever had one but you'll enjoy them. 👍

This is sadie . She’s a rescue . Some kind of rotti mix. . Sweetest little girl man. We have 4 dogs total but she’s mine. The other 3 are my girlfriends

We had a JR that went 20 years. She would have gone longer but there were things going down about her that would have been selfish to keep her around. She had a mind of her own and when she got older she was just like a cranky old lady. She gave us more laughs than any of our other dogs.

At the time I felt so bad for him, I said "if you need to vent, pray, etc" text or call me and I made the egregious mistake of giving him my number because you know, I belived him LOL but towards the end (it was around life got in the way and I disappeared) that nothing was adding up and making sense.

But I do have an actual mid hybrid... I would have LOVED to see those puppies! I would love to get another but they are A LOT of work... more so than regular dogs.

I will dig around for the pics again. They were absolutely fluffy and getting held by every hot...I mean, fit chick at the gym. I was hairy and fluffy but no one held me.
