flat top grill, any opinions

I had a flat top but it got rusty too quick. maybe I didnt care for it correctly. I found some stainless steel flat top inserts that look like it may be a good alternative. what do you guys think flat top grill or flat top insert for BBQ

i think Blackstone are the best. My dad has a nice cover for his.

I got a pitboss, I like the set up better than the black stone with the foldable cover. Gotta clean it and keep it oiled like your cast irons.

Ceramic will probably be your better option. I have the steel one.

I have a Blackstone and rust is inevitable. If you get a good season, it helps, that and a heavy oil coat after cleaning. You can resurrect them even if you have to sand it.
