I am fairly sensitive to hair loss and my orginal TRT clinic put me on Finasteride. Its worked pretty well and slowed things down. My new doctor has added in 100mg of Deca a week. I am nervous about it interacting with my Finasteride. Is that dose so low that it wont be an issue? Thank you in advance.

Any side effects with the fin? What’s your dosage? That shit scares me I prefer topical anti androgen like RU but I accepted a long time ago I’d rather have muscles than hair. As far as your question I’ve read deca and fin accelerates hair loss.

I take 1mg and haven't had any issues. Whats the RU you speak of?
Also I heard the same about Fin and Deca but hoping that since deca is only at 100mg a week maybe its cool

I’m sure someone more educated on the topic will help better than I. However the RU is short for RU-58841 it’s a topical anti androgen. It surely has its list of side effects but nothing scares me more than post finasteride syndrome. RU seems to help a decent amount with hair shedding while I’m on tren. Along with 2% ketoconazole shampoo and nioxin.

Soooo that just ruined my morning smh. Doctor told me the only risk was maybe ED. I just looked it up after reading your comment and wow wtf have I been taking. I can not thank you enough for your comment. Scared the crap out of me but I am glad to know. Ignorance I guess really is bliss. Shm unreal that I wasn't told any of that. Thank you again, truly.

Not even gets the side effects but for those that do they can be really drastic. I’m surprised your dr didn’t bring it up before prescribing it to you.

Do not take RU-58841. It jacks your BP through the roof and has links to heart attacks and strokes. Plus there are zero studies that show it works on hair loss. I had a hair transplant from a very experienced, high end doctor 4 months ago and he said to stay the fuck away from RU-58841 and told me he doesn't have one colleague that recommends it.

I've been taking Fin for years with zero issues and although it didnt regrow any hair, hence my transplant, it did stop further loss.

What cycles have you run while on it?

Can you link the studies? I have not heard about these heart claims. I only hear that RU-58841 works well.

I ruined my hairline by using Masteron and Winstrol which Finasteride doesnt help. Im also pretty sure 2 cycles involving Tren wasnt great for the hair.

On Reddit there is a subforum about hairloss/hair transplants. There are hundreds of guys on there detailing their experiences with Fin, Dutasteride and RU-58841. There are a decent percentage of guys on there who use gear. This forum is the equivalent for hairloss what ASF is for gear. You can learn a ton. I did. They have all the RU studies on there. Just go to Reddit and type in hair transplants and look for the forum with the most members. It has at least as many posts per day that ASF does. Trust me, there are more guys out there obsessed with their hair than guys obsessed with their bodies.

Too bad Derek @MPMD did not lay out the breakover dosage of Test/Deca which damages hair when combined with Finasteride.
I've been on Fin for 20 yrs and TRT for 3 years. I've ordered Deca and planned to dose Deca at 50 to 75mg/wk along with 100 to 125mg/wk Test.

I have a hard time understanding how low dose Deca can exacerbate hairloss due to being on Fin.

what's the test-deca ratio? 2:1?

For those taking fin, what dosage fin/day? I've got 5mg tabs and I'm doing 1/2, so 2.5/day, but seem to still be losing hair/thinning out pretty bad

dont combine deca and fin it will cause hairloss

drop the fin when adding deca.. deca is hair safe
FUUUUUUUCK.... that is exactly what I did for a big cycle prior. Goddamn. No wonder I'm fucking going bald.
It was Test, Tren, Deca inj + Dbol oral and I added fin to prevent hair loss

What about using topical finasteride, Dutasteride, and minoxidil combo? Anyone doing this? I just started it about a week ago and I’m running deca

Minoxidil and Fin/Dut work differently so you should combine them but if you want to combine Fin and Dut, use Fin 5 days and Dut the other 2 days.

If you don’t mind me asking.. how much does a hair transplant cost?

I went to a top notch clinic in Chicago. Mine was 11K for 1800 grafts which is a good price for a US transplant. Turkey is 1/4 the price but risky and no ability for follow up appointments. The hair transplant technology is very good now. I'm 7 months in and it looks amazing. I've posted 4 month photos and it looked great. It takes a year for full results. Between my good genetics, good skin care and now my new hair, people guess my age 10-15 years younger than I am.

Which one did you have? Direct Hair Implantation (DHI), Follicular Unit Transplant (FUT), Follicular Unit Extraction (FUE)

Congrats on the success! I'm considering a trip to Turkey, but I have a business associate there. He and his family have businesses and they'll make sure I'm only going to one of the very best clinics. As you said, it's literally 1/4 the price, plus I'm gonna make a nice vacation out of it.

I had FUE. FUT is garbage, leaves big scars. Even my US doctor admitted that there are clinics in Turkey that do some of the best work in the world, the trick is finding the right one.

Turkey does some advanced medical work because of lesser restrictions than the US. I believe that if I could have gotten my wife there before she was too sick, she would be alive as the hospital she was in, in the US turned her down for the liver and kidney transplants she needed.

I now am a firm advocate that if you have a loved one in a serious health crisis, like cancer, organ failure, etc , get that person to Turkey or Japan as those countries give them a better chance of survival.

Man, I'm very sorry you lost your wife and that she was denied the transplants. That's horrible. You're right, sometimes you have to get out of this country if you want the best chance for survival.

I'm looking into clinics over in Turkey and thinking sometime in 2024 I'll be making the trip across the pond. Hopefully I still have enough hair left by then!
Running Fina, but it honestly doesn't seem to be helping much.
