Easiest ass to pin is someone else ;-)

My traps are pretty thick especially being on dbol and tren... I just stick it in the thickest part of my trap from upward angle and drop the plunger. Cool thing about traps is I have only hit a vein once... that's great compared to other muscles for me.

No pip? Traps are usually pretty bad for that.

Ventroglute

My favorite is the ventoglute. Love it especially the left. I can push over 3ml in and never have an issue except the occasional tren cough when I pin the right for some reason. Please those of you that havent used this spot especially those doing daily injections give the ventroglute a try. I promise youll be a fan for life. If you have a hard time finding good videos or info for this injection let me know and ill find the info that helped me finally give it a shot.

My new favorite spot is on the side, 2 inches below the center of the hip. If you feel, there's a really meaty area that can support 2.5-3mls and has less nerve area. I've been using this area for about a year now and have had great success with it. Either side works great.

I thought that was the name of the site, but didn't realize it until I had already posted it and had seen your post later. This site is heaven sent and I wish that I would of known about it years ago. I use 27 gauge 1-1/4". Yes, 27 gauge- There's advantages to home brewing, ya know!

A slin pin in the pecs or tricep is interesting. Would be nice to have a few more spots. The tri would be hard to pin solo? Just hold your arm up in the air and pin it? Anyone have any experience with this?

Deja vu, you try hitting your Tris yet with a slin pin? You should, it is the easiest injection besides delts for me. If you still having trouble figuring it out maybe I can post a video

just hard for me to believe that delts are not everybodys fav .they are mine for sure so easy quick and my delts can hold 3ml.but my problem is i say i am going to start doing diff spots but i all ways end up pinning my delts just so much better.glutes are good to i have problems doing my left glute.

Hey Bro, I think I'm going to give this a try. I'm pinning mon-sat and my quads will soon look like shredded meat. I've look it up on youtube and such but there's not really any good detailed info. Is there a rule of thumb, like so far from you hip joint or a hands length or such.

Any help would be awesome.

Thanks!

The ventrogluteal site is the primary site for individuals over seven months old because there are no large nerves or blood vessels in the area. In addition, the ventrogluteal area is usually less fatty than the buttocks, meaning that more medication is administered directly to the muscle.
When the ventrogluteal site is used, the injection is made into the gluteus minimus and the gluteus medius muscles. The site is situated in a triangle within three palpable bony landmarks: the iliac crest, the anterior superior iliac crest and the greater trochanter of the femur.
THe site may be located by placing the palm of the hand on the lateral part of the greater trochanter with the index finger on the anterior superior iliac spine. Then the middle fingers are stretched dorsally as far along the iliac crest as possible. An alternative method of locating the ventrogluteal sit has been developed by Rhoda Brooke through her nursing experiences with adults and chilrdren. Whith this method it is not necessary to lay the nurse's hands on th body. Rather, the individual's anatomy is relied on more specifically. In Brooke's method, an imaginary line is drawn from the top of the iliac crest down to the trocanter. Then another line, parallel to the waistline is drawn from the anterior superior iliac spine (hip bone) to join the first line. The point of intersection is the ventrogluteal site. It is important to palpte the injection site; it should feel soft and fleshy. If it feels hard, the site is likely too close to the bone and will have to be adjusted accordingly.
An injection may be given into the ventogluteal site with the patient in a prone, supine or side-lying position. (Dugas et al., 1999, p.1153)

This is how I locate my site: I do the injection standing up in front of my mirror. I turn to the side so I can visulize the site in the mirror as well. I then find the greater trochanter (this is the top of your femur that inserts into the hip - you can find it easily by feeling around as you lift your leg up and down a bit). Once you've located that, just find the front of your pelvis on that side and follow the ridge (iliac crest) to the back. you can use your hand to guide imaginary lines that go from the two ends of the pelvis to the greater trochanter - an upside down triangle. Once you have an imaginary triangle traced find the middle. Push down in the area to ensure it is soft and not bony. If it is soft you can inject, so swab the area with alchohol, prepare your needle - I have used as small as insulin needles (I'm lean) to as large as 22 gauge and as long as 1" 1/2.
According to my drug guide you can inject as much as 5 CC at ONE TIME! in this site!

I just stand in front of the mirror with the side Im going to inject to the mirror raise my foot off the floor and you can see it bulge. It may feel tendony But just go for the meatiest part of the bulge. The guy in the picture above is pointing in the general area your looking to inject.
