Another example of how they want to normalize obesity. You even see fat mannequins in the stores now and fat models in catalogs. It's gotten to the point that overweight/over fat/obese is so common, and almost expected, that people at a normal healthy weight are told that they are underweight and subsequently must be unhealthy.

My wife is 5' 4" and 120lbs. (the average woman her height is now close to 170lbs., more than the average man weighed in 1960). She has a clean diet and exercises regularly in part because she doesn't want to end up fat and unhealthy like the rest of her family. She often has people telling her that she is "way too skinny" and needs to "put on a good 40lbs to be healthy". Of course all of the women telling her this are hog fat themselves (misery loves company?).

They're doing the same bullshit when it comes to pharmaceuticals. They're trying to convince everyone that being on a half a dozen drugs at any given time is normal and should just be expected. Even better (for the drug companies anyway) is when they have a drug that causes side effects so that then they can give you another drug to counter them so that they can basically create a cascade of one drug after another to get you on the hook for life.

Talking about mannequins...I had to do a double take a few weeks ago in South Africa. There was a chick in a car behind me with a mannequin in the front seat.
