Eye Contact vs Staring

It happens less and less over the years, but every once in awhile I'll still get a nice mutual eye lock on some random chick. *Every* single time this has happened, it has been in a situation where I could NOT act on it. Well, not and stay married, etc. And I'm talking about both of you locking eyes, not looking away, not being embarrased to go beyond staring, and neither willing to look away even though you know you "should" because it's beyond what a normal person would be doing. I've always wondered if I could have went straight to fucking without saying a single word...

Anyone ever get the free pass to skip directly to the good stuff?

Years ago, I was walking through Cambridge, Massachusetts on my way to visit my sister who was attending Harvard at the time. It was in the fall, and as I walked past a sorority house, there was a girl outside raking leaves. It was a vision right out of a movie it was so surreal. She was a Godess. She had golden blond hair, a bronze tan, and was wearing a bright yellow terry cloth halter top with matching terry cloth shorts. She was the most beautiful creature I'd ever seen and had a face that could start world wars. I was in awe. Then she looked up and wiped her forehead with the back of her hand - her eyes were closed and it was like slow motion as she did so. I was hypnotized by her grace and beauty. Then she opened her eyes and looked right at me. Our eyes locked and she smiled, the most beautiful smile with perfect bright white teeth I'd ever seen. A second later I realized why she was smiling as my head bounced off the telephone pole in front of me. It was one of those metal poles and it made a very loud and drawn out goooooooooooooong sound that lasted forever as if to prolong my humiliation. She cracked up laughing and I swear she pulled out a pocket knife and put another notch in her rake handle as I walked away.

My stylist. She is new and definitely opened up.... I have another Appt right before competition. She invited me over but, I am with someone amd was honest totally; she didn’t care. She said she still wants to cook for me and she just moved here and doesn’t know anyone. I definitely wont go over but I’d like to introduce her to my friends; with my girl. She is 21, really cool; just moved here from Minneapolis. I am talking an edgy 9 ! She didn’t have tatts but, had a bit of blue and light purple in her hair (could tell she was a blonde and had it dyed black w the accents. Super sexy and she was sooo down, just really friendly , talked for an hour so I really got to know her well. Tripped me out she moved all by herself out of Cosmetology School. She lived outside of Minneapolis in a more rural area. Plus she cooks, likes to fish and has 4 brothers so nothing I said phased her and I definitely crossed the line(as far as sex talk/personal) to see how she reacted. Maybe invite her to one of my girls promotion parties and introduce her.

lol...I've thought about this scenario (walking into something). It *has* to be flattering as fuck to the chick. Would have been a great opener to a conversation for sure.

Yeah, she still pursued it after I told her I had a girlfriend. She was like, “you don’t live together, your not married and that makes you single” technically..she is right but we all know that would be betrayal. My girl is super understanding about all that, it happens almost daily at my jobs. We just don’t talk about it, she has the same problem at what she does and she is around the famous & rich all the time; but if she fell for their tricks , they can have her. She has been solid and about me, but if she thinks or finds someone else...I just don’t want to be with any girl who wants to sleep or cheat. It is different if we discuss things. I definitely am not against sleeping with other people, it just cannot be “seeing someone “. Sex for me is just that(except her). She lets me , but I cannot ever date or see someone else.

I have never cheated on any gf or my wife. I admit I have come close, but always pulled back. I think I just like the chasing more than the catching part. My wife being a virgin when we met, I could prolly forgive her if she decided to give in and find out what it is like to be with someone else. It would have to a one time only thing for sure, and not somebody I would have to deal with locally. Past that I'd leave her without regret. I do not put up with loose woman. If you say you are with me, than you are. If not do not make promises you can not keep.

Only once did this happen to me, but I was so young and so was she we didn't know how to proceed. I was a sophomore and she a freshman in Highschool (different HS that were 75 miles apart). We met at a "Battle of the High School Bands" type thing. She had Jade colored eyes, I had blue contacts in so I cheated (lol) but we locked eyes and it was like the world stopped for both of us. We immediately started moving towards each other. We talked the whole night by ourselves. We did get a bit touchy feelsy but nothing more than a few kisses, hugs, hand holding. I never even asked her for her number, nor she mine. It was just a "thing"... I suspect had we lived closer and been a year or two older, it would have went some where.

That is awesome . My parents are like that, although they were divorced for some time; they got re-married and have been together since the were(jr high) 14-15yrs old. They thought that grass was greener and both Married other people and found out quickly that they were still in love and got back together. My father is a one woman man but my grandpa and great grandpa are more like me; I must have inherited it. Also, I have never had a relationship longer than 6 weeks besides my current (coming up to 3 yrs now). I am sure if I do get married; I would be monogamous or I don’t see the point. So rare in my family and environment for monogamy, but a few and I am not 100% sure they are. But they all have a lot of kids and responsibilities so I can respect that

No, there isn’t really a free pass like that. Mutual eye contact can signal attraction or curiosity, but it doesn’t mean both people want to immediately act on it, and it definitely isn’t consent. Most people have experienced intense eye lock moments that feel charged, but they’re usually just brief sparks or imagined possibilities rather than silent agreements to skip straight to anything physical.
