So I see a lot of guys running splits such as PPL's or UL. I'm actually planning to transition to an UL training M/T & Th/F.

What I've noticed is a lot of people go from one body part to another and then back again.

An example would be:
Cable Fly - 2 sets
Bent Row- 2 sets
Dbell Press - 2 sets
Pulldown - 2 sets

Is there any particular reason for training like this? My thought is train a particular body part by keeping the movements consecutive and keeping the blood in the muscle before moving onto a different muscle group.

Am I missing something here?

The short answer is “the pump” proragonist combined with antagonist for instance biceps and triceps combined training gets a fuller pump than a pull/bicep day
 
Schwarzenegger used to train opposing muscles. I have been doing that more these days as i don't have to rest as long when training things like arms. But over the decades i have seen far far more people training one group to completion then going to the next.
