Greetings forum members, I'm posting because I ran into some problems with deca durabolin that have yet to be resolved and I'm wondering if anyone else has run into this and found a solution...last year (may-june) I tried a 200 mg cycle of Deca. I took two shots a week on top of test (Enan). Things started off ok but within a few weeks, I started to have problems. I developed really bad hand trembling, lots of digestive issues, and difficulty breathing. I came off the deca and the hand trembling went away, but the digestive issues only slightly improved. I still can't eat carbs like rice or potatoes without really bad indigestion and I get winded very easily when working out. Prior to deca I would lift six days a week and swam 3 to 4 miles a week and ran every day. Now, after deca I can barely walk to the pickup to go to work without being out of breath and I have an elevated heart rate as well (74-82) bpm. Has anyone else run into side effects like these? If so, what did you do to correct this? Any thoughts/questions/input are welcome. Thanks and have a great day.

Those issues are not common for Deca. Are you sure you're injecting deca? I mean do you trust the lab? Gear may be tainted.

The biggest sides are usually mental and/or sexual dysfunction. Did you change anything in your diet? Been stressed? Sometimes correlation doesn't imply causation.

Have you gotten bloods drawn?

Yes it was Deca, I know where it came from/where it was made. The manufacturer is as perplexed as you are. I have had blood draws yes, my doc is unsure of what's wrong. The only thing that is off in my blood draw is my Billyreuben is slightly elevated but everything else is fine. All I know is I haven't been the same since last june

Also, I'm off to work and won't be able to reply until I get home. Feel free to ask any questions you like. Ill be home to reply later on

I have never suffered that problem I have never suffered from deca dick but I did have a lot of problems with depression and anxiety when I was on it my first time my second time it seemed to go pretty good but I'll be fair if you're having problems like that maybe you might want to go talk to your doctor man

I am not doubting your problems OP, but hand trembling, digestion issues and shortness of breathe do not seem gear related...they sound serious and i would 100% get a health check by your doctor.

ESPECIALLY at such a minimal dose, its much more likely something else is the culprit. Also, how long were you running Deca. It has takes a long time to reach peak blood levels.

Indeed. If you have been taking nothing for 8 months (or even if you have) and you get short of breath taking a few steps, there's something wrong. You need a pulmonologist or a cardiologist to check your heart and lungs unless you're morbidly obese or something.

Just got home. Been to the doctor several times and so far nothing seems wrong. Blood pressure good, EKG doesn't show anything wrong, though he is sending me to cardiologist for a heart stress test just to rule it out. I agree that in some ways it seems that this is not decades related but these problems started about 3-4 weeks after starting. I was on it for about 2-2.5 months before coming off it. At the worst of it, I felt like I had the worst flu ever, the fatigue was terrible. The worst of the symptoms were gone within 2 weeks of coming off Deca. The hand trembling is gone, ANF the worst of the flu symptoms are gone. The digestion got better but never where it was before I went on that stuff. I'm going to have my T levels in the next day or so, so I will let you know where all of that is at.

How’s your diet? Greens, vitamins etc… aside from that I’d do bloodwork, full panel and I mean mean full, check everything. Could be very high RBC or platelets, terrible cholesterol maybe? I experience your symptoms when eating a ton of food, on a lot of drugs and not doing cardio. My bloodwork is never really all that bad aside from lipids (cholesterol) and usually high platelets. Liver enzymes are usually fine too, but for the amount of drugs that you were on it’s very strange, but definitely something is off.

My doctor felt the same way and ran a full panel in october, and everything is good. Cholesterol is good, platelets are good, thyroid, PSA, everything looks good....its almost frustrating lol. My chest is always tight (began when I started deca) and my breathing feels like I'm having a slight asthma attack, but my vitals are good. Doc has also scheduled am endoscopy where they send a camera down my throat to have a look inside to see what they see. I figured I'd come on here and see if anyone else ran into what I'm running into...I don't know what the cause of all this is, but it all started shortly after I began deca...perhaps decades was not the ultimate cause but made the existing problem (whatever that is) worse?

Really odd. Like I said, I experience the same shortness of breath while doing nothing. Sex is a near death experience… but all goes back to normal when the drugs go away and the food volume adjusts, health markers come into range. Very scary situation you’re in where everything seems fine on paper.

When this first started I was eating 6 meals a day (I was training really hard) but I couldn't hardly eat so the bodybuilding diet ceased over night. I still eat well, but not near the same amount. I'm going to get to the bottom of this somehow. I do appreciate all of the questions and the feedback. All thoughts are welcome

I originally went on trt because my natural t levels crashed. Prior to that I had never been on T or steroids. I felt really good for over 2 years on T then I got it into my mind that I needed to try Deca....this is entirely my own fault lol.

I don't understand why you haven't been sent to a lung specialist. They have all kinds of tools to examine lungs and measure their capacity these days

That's on the list. Up here in the Soviet Republic of Washington state it takes 6 months to get into a specialist. My doc sent the referral in for endoscopy over a month ago and my initial appointment is not until april, after that the procedure will be scheduled so who knows. But yes, going to a lung specialist is on the table to. I have a very thorough naturopathic doctor that is frustrated that this has been so hard to diagnose

How often are you drinking? I had similar sides as you when I did a bulk cycle during the summer. Deca was one of the compounds at 400mg per week. Spent 2 weeks at the lake drinking like a fish. My stomach was hard and sticking out and I was out of breath for no reason. I could do cardio just fine but simple things like getting out my truck would have me catching my breath. I think the alcohol and gear had my guts so swollen that I had no room to breathe

I hold a lot of water on Deca and that makes my body weight increase dramatically which can have a negative impact on normal everyday activity cuz your body is not used to that quick increase in weight.
Look at and adjust sodium in my diet and actually increase water intake was what helped me the most.

I don't drink at all. Lots of water and BCAAs but not alcohol of any kind.

Deca in doses higher than 3-400mg makes me depressed in the head... Dont know why, Ive run bigger doses of Deca in my younger years but nowadays... Ive switched to NPP... Gains are dryer and joints still get a little help.

I've had mild lethargy and hunger issues before but nothing long term like that. I may have missed something in reading so pardon me if I did. Even if your cholesterol is "good" maybe ultrasounds would be in order? If your oxygen supply is restricted by impeded blood flow that would do it. It would tax your heart as well. Maybe get your legs, neck and heart checked.

That's an interesting thought. What would I be looking for with ultrasound? When you say get my get my legs neck and heart checked, what exactly do you mean? Can you elaborate?

Plaque. I had stenosis in my right femoral artery and a blockage in my LAD ( left anterior descending) the one they call the widow maker. And a partial in my neck. Leg and neck got better with proper exercise and diet and statins. LAD required a stent.

Is it very notable? The symptoms you mentioned?

Mine happened when I was working out. The blood flow and oxygen demand sent my blood pressure through the roof. 196/134. I knew what was happening. Scared the shit out me. 911 and nitro glycerin saved my life. And that arm pain people talk about? You'll know believe me.

Good to know, glad you caught it in time 🙏💪💯. Happy you're still here with us 💯🙌.
