Have attachments to do t-bar rows as well at the planets by me. A lot more meat heads have been showing up. Just need heavier dumbells now

Think there newer CEO wants to compete more with Crunch fitness. A lot of the regular members I don’t think like the new crowd that’s been coming in from what I can tell. I hit planet up once or twice a week with the wife

Yeah, Collen Keating is on record numerous times she wants to bring up the strength aspect in the clubs and she's smart in doing so as it will be mainstream that you need to do strength training with GLP's when obese to preserve as much muscle as possible. She's ahead of the curve on that and a great move.

Was a smart move. If they get some better equipment I’d consider just going to planet. The stuff they have is good just prefer pieces my other gym has, especially for back day.

i also found out i can only get it right atm at planet fitness with their incline and benches lol.

but then again most other places have a tbar row lol
I don't think i've ever seen a place with a T Bar Row. Maybe seated wide-grip on the pulley stations

They are going to get crushed by EoS and Crunch if both keep expanding. Both much better gyms for same low price.

PF has the market on the obese and boomer gen which should continue. Anything they can add on top of that with luring some "normal" (not hardcore) gym bros is added revenue for not a lot of cost. I hit a few PFs by me on the weekends due to them being open 24/7 and I'm seeing a lot more guys coming from the local gym bro gyms.

It's like $15 a month and compared to EoS (cheapest is like $30/month) and Crunch which, at least in Tri-State area, is much higher.

For guys like us, I totally get your point though!

I like PF solely bc when I travel I'm typically close to some location. If EoS or Crunch got to their footprint size, is switch even if it was slightly more

Me too. I travel often and the black card along with tons of PF's everywhere is so convenient.

My local PF has basically every plate loaded machine possible. Hacks, Pulldowns, Chest Supported Row (both grips), all inclines of pressing, Squat Racks, Deads area, etc. I used to hate going here before they got everything. Now it's no big dip in training. I know this isn't normal for most clubs though.

Oh and @dcdogz email first thing in the AM with your weight. Might want to drop some cals before Sat.

🫡 got it

fairly exhausted, didnt want to go back to gym for cardio, nothing like coach asking for your morning weight to light a fire under you lol.

taking off to sons camp just to hang out, im so bored lol and hungry.
works pretty much done for me so im not use to just chillin like this alone.

i imagine hes having a good time because I havent heard from him all day lol. mfer starts wrestling and forgets he has a FAMILY.

probably get some steps in a stuff there just to stay busy and keep my normal activity levels.
although ive been running around all day just doing random stuff, since i couldnt bring the whole pantry with me.

to what yall were talking about, my crunch recently updated this january and i really like it alot.
only thing that sucks is they got rid of the tbar row, but they made up for it I guess with pendulums and belts squats.
which i absolutely love.

my quads did pretty well with the shit tier 1 press and 1 hack they had, now they updated to have 3 leg presses.
same hack, which is fairly rough on the joints but gets the job done I guess, it allows me to avoid that matrix humbler from planet fitness lol.

they got rid of a crap ton of cardio equipment to make room for like roughly 10 new machines. maybe like 20 some odd treadmills and bikes, and all the pendulum cardio equipment.
